Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza is back home with her family after a hectic shooting schedule. The gorgeousness often shares glimpses of her mommy life with her baby, Avyaan. For the unversed, after dating for a few years, Dia Mirza had tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi in an intimate ceremony. Later, in May 2021, the couple had welcomed their son, Avyaan.
The initial phase of Dia's motherhood journey was bumpy as her son was a premature baby and he was in NICU for 90 days. After which, Dia had announced the birth of her first child. On July 14, 2021, Dia had revealed in a long note that she had an emergency C-section delivery, and her baby was in NICU. She had written:
"To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone, "To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav and my feelings right now. Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU."
