Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza is on cloud nine as her little boy, Avyaan Rekhi called her 'mamma' for the first time. Check it out!
Just like every mom, Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza was eagerly waiting for her son, Avyaan Azad Rekhi to speak his first words. For parents, a child's first words hold a lot of importance, and they want to make sure to record the special moment. For those who don't know, Dia Mirza is married to Vaibhav Rekhi, and the duo embraced parenthood in May 2021.
However, their journey of being parents wasn't an easy one as Dia's son was a premature baby, and he was in NICU for 90 days. The actress had announced the arrival of her son, when he was back home. On July 14, 2021, Dia revealed in a long note that she had an emergency C-section delivery, after which, her baby was admitted to NICU.

On August 4, 2022, Dia took to her Instagram handle and posted a cutesy video of her son. In the video, we can see Dia's baby boy, Avyaan enjoying the outside video and watching butterflies, when he suddenly said, 'Mamma'. Dia was left shocked, and she asked him to say 'papa'. Along with it, the doting mommy expressed her joy and wrote:
"He said “Mamma” for the first time yesterday "
A while ago, Dia had posted a cutesy glimpse of her son, Avyaan. In the video, Avyaan searched the bookshelf for a perfect book, showing his love for reading at a young age. The little boy looked adorable in a muted green-toned onesie. Atop it, the doting mommy had added a 'Sunday' sticker.
On the work front, Diza Mirza will be next seen in the film, Dhak Dhak!
