Saira Banu Gives Consent To Deactivate Late Husband, Dilip Kumar's Twitter Handle, Fans Are Saddened

Dilip Kumar's wife, Saira Banu gave permission to deactivate his Twitter handle. Fans couldn't help but express their pain on this decision.

Legendary actor, Dilip Kumar was the dream man of every woman in the '60s. The charming personality of the veteran actor was sure to make girls go gaga over him and one such fan of him was his wife, Saira Banu, who was head-over-heels-in-love with him since the age of 12. Saira Banu was 22 when she got married to a 44-year-old Dilip Kumar on October 11, 1996. However, the age gap of 22 years had hardly bothered her and she was dedicatedly fulfilling her responsibilities as his wife.

On July 7, 2021, Dilip Kumar had left millions of his fans teary-eyed as he had passed away at the age of 98. It was Dilip Kumar’s family friend, Faisal Farooqui, who had announced the heartbreaking news about the demise of Dilip saab. He had tweeted, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. – Faisal Farooqui.”

On September 15, 2021, Faisal Farooqui took to Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle to announce yet another heartbreaking news. He informed the iconic actor's fans that he sought the permission of Dilip sahab's wife, Saira Banu and they have decided to deactivate his Twitter account. His tweet can be read as ''After much discussion and deliberation and with the consent of Saira Banu ji, I hv decided to close this twitter account of beloved Dilip Kumar Saab. Thank you for your continuous love and support.-Faisal Farooqui."

As soon as the shocking news of late Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle deactivation came up, fans began to react and requested Faisal and Saira Banu not to deactivate his account. One user wrote, ''Please don't do this Sir, I am requesting please This is only way we feel that our Dilip saheb Is still with us.. HE is with us Always.. Please don't do this please.. Please.''

After Dilip Kumar's death, his wife, Saira Banu hasn't been keeping well and was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital a few days back. On September 1, 2021, the Padosan actress was shifted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). She had reportedly suffered a minor heart attack but things were under control and the family was taking care of her health. 

After Dilip Kumar's death, Saira Banu was shattered into pieces and had said that her reason to live had left her. When the legendary actor's pulmonologist, Dr Jalil Parkar had announced the news of his death, she had said, "God snatched away my reason for living. Without Sahab, I won't be able to think about anything. Everyone, please pray."
