While Vidhi opted for a traditional red lehenga with heavy gold embroidery on it, Hridesh looked dapper in a cream-hued sherwani. The couple was accompanied by about 350 wedding guests, including close friends, family members, and media personnel. All the guests were dressed in vibrant and stylish ethnic wear, exuding excitement and dancing to lively Bollywood songs. The baaraat arrived at the Jetex VIP terminal near Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, and the celebrations began from there.
A Boeing 747 aircraft was slightly modified into a stunning wedding venue for the ceremony, and each section of the plane was fixed with a small projector so that everyone could watch the wedding procession. Meanwhile, the guests were treated to a seven-star meal, which included bread and butter, vegetable jhalfrazi, mushroom pulao, palak paneer and dal masala. They were seen having a gala time thousands of feet above the ground.

Moreover, celebrity chef, Sanjeev Kapoor curated the meal for the grand wedding.
In an interview with Brew News, Dilip Popley opened up about hosting a mid-air wedding for his daughter, Vidhi Popley and recalled how his father did the same for him. Sharing deets about his wedding, Dilip shared that he took his father's dream to another level and that he is hoping to host his son's wedding in space. He was quoted as saying:
"My marriage in the air was my dad's idea, which started from a lighter note. It was my dad's dream, who wanted to get his son married in the air. We met the chairman of Air India and had a wedding in the sky in 1994. Now I am carrying his dream to another level. I am hoping, for my son's marriage, technology will allow us to do something bigger, such as marriage in space."
