Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi concert was full, and 'Dilliwala are enjoying the Punjabi vibes'. However, singles were left shocked as they got free bottles with a note.
Diljit Dosanjh is on a mission to conquer the world with his music. After winning hearts internationally with his Dil-Luminati tour, Diljit is in India, winning the hearts of his own people. Recently, he arrived in Delhi to leave 'Dilliwalas' in awe, and this happened as people of Delhi grooved on his superhit songs. But a strange thing happened for the singles attending the concert.
Diljit Dosanjh gave a memorable night to Delhiites as he performed 'dil-khol ke' at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium as a part of his Dil-Luminati tour. Many renowned faces of social media attended the concert. While pictures and videos from the concert went viral, a particular moment has left everyone shocked and puzzled.
It all started after a fan attending the Diljit concert shared photos of volunteers from a matrimonial website distributing free water bottles to all the single people who arrived at the concert. It also had a hilarious note that was a dig at all the single people, and it could be read as:
"Jeevansathi pe aa gaye hote toh aaj ye bottle nahi uska haath pakda hota."
A user on X, shared the photos of volunteers holding a placard, which read "Free Water Bottles For Singles." Soon, fans started flooding the post. One user wrote, "Single log bhi concert jaa rahe hai? I thought it was just a place for couples." Another user gave a hilarious reaction by writng, "Me to Jeevansathi: Aisi baaton se dil dukhta hai hamara."
One netizen also commented, "Swati: Main udna chahti hoon, daudna chahti hoon, girna bhi chahti hoon, bas rukna nahi chahti. Jeevansathi: Yeh lo bottle pakdo." Reacting to the whole campaign for single people, one user wrote, "Bohot beizzaati hai bhai."
It's been a long since Diljit gained stardom with his films and songs in the Punjabi industry, but for security reasons, he has always kept his family away from the media limelight. However, things seem to have changed, as Diljit first time introduced his mother during his live concert in Manchester. The singer was dressed in a black Pathani suit with a matching black turban and a phulkari doshala.
On the other hand, his mother was dressed in a simple white suit with no makeup and hair tied in a back pony. She got extremely emotional as the singer introduced her to his fans, and said, "By the way, she is my mother." Everyone rooted the loudest for the mother-son duo, and seeing all this Diljit's mother broke down in tears, while he continued singing, 'Dil tenu de ditta main taan soneya, Jaan tere kadma ch rakhi hoyi ae'.
Diljit even bowed down to her, gave a kiss on her forehead and gave a warm hug to her. Further in the video, he also introduced his sister, who was also present and looked the happiest when she saw her baby brother perform live on stage. He also bowed down in front of her and got emotional as he said:
"She is my sister, aj meri family bhi aayi hui hai."
