Dipika Kakar broke down in a video from 'Celebrity MasterChef', wherein she revealed she is backing out of the show due to her shoulder injury.
Dipika Kakar made a comeback on television after three years with her stint in the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef. However, the show which started as Dipika showing her cooking skills, came to an abrupt end for her. Yes, Dipika exited the show after Holi celebration episode as she suffered severe shoulder pain. A clip from her last appearance on the show surfaces.
The Holi special episode began with Farah Khan noticing Dipika Kakar's injured arm as she was wearing an arm sling to support her shoulder. She questioned her why she wasn't wearing the Holi special outfit, explaining herself, DIpika revealed that her pain has restarted, causing discomfort and stiffness in her left shoulder, and it has increased. She said:
"Back to square one. Abhi toh thoda zyada bura hua hai."
A visibly emotional Dipika tries hard to control her tears but ends up crying when Ranveer Brar asks her, "Toh, khana kaise pakayengi aap?" Dipika broke down and with a heavy heart stated:
"Nahi pakka paungi."
The video instantly went viral, and netizens flooded the comments. While some supported the actress, some taunted her. One user wrote, "After a soo long she came back and unfortunately this happens this show was her passion literally stepping back from this it's so hard." Another one commented, "Ghar main to Roz khana ban Raha hai ache se." A third used wrote, "Ghr jake kese thik hogi yeah?"
After reports of Dipika leaving the show went viral, the actress confirmed the same. She revealed that due to an injury in her shoulder, she was unable to move her hand cook as she felt shooting pain. In her Vlog, Dipika confirmed quitting the show, Celebrity MasterChef midway due to her health issue. She shared that during the festival episode, she started feeling excruciating pain in her shoulder, and despite medication, the pain didn't subside. She further stated that she was diagnosed with lymph nodes, which were the root of the pain. The production people even had to take the actress to the hospital. After this, Dipika decided to take care of her health and said:
"Last week when the contestants were celebrating festivals, I started getting pain in my shoulder. Since the time I reached the sets, I started getting shoulder pain and the production people took me to the hospital."
Talking about Dipika Kakar's income from the show, according to a report in Telly Talks, famous television actress Dipika Kakar, who was first seen in Sasural Simar Ka, is taking home Rs. 2.3 lakh per week.
Later, a Reddit user took to the discussion platform and pointed out how Dipika lied about her injury as she went on a vacation with her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, the next day. The post further highlights how Dipika was able to hold her child and do house chores as she claimed that she had so intense pain that she had to leave the show.
