Dipika Kakar's ex-employee, Saniya shared a detailed video on her traumatic experience working with her, and getting fired as the actress got 'Celebrity MasterChef'.
Dipika Kakar proudly introduced her clothing label last year. It was her comeback to work life after the birth of her son, Ruhaan. To make her label reach heights, she hired a designer named Saniya, who worked with her from Delhi and later shifted her base to Mumbai. Dipika provided her with accommodation at her mother's place, but after the 10th day, she fired her and blamed her employee that she didn't take the work seriously. Later, Dipika told her that she couldn't afford her salary as she had gotten a show, Celebrity MasterChef.
In another video, which Saniya shared on her YouTube channel, she shared more about the ordeal she went through while working with Dipika. She revealed that Dipika had not paid her 10 days' salary, while she had told her that she would be paying her full month's salary as she had called her to Mumbai. Saniya said:
"10 ki toh payment mujhe hui hi nahi. Jabki apne mujhe bola, 'Mai dekhti hoon mai ne apko itni durr se bulaya hai, mai apko 1 month ki pori salary dungi.'
Saniya revealed that Dipika never created any contract, and she kept assuring her that she would give her. Saniya shared that Dipika told her that she had kept her promise of paying a set amount when she worked for her in Delhi, while the designer had not fulfilled her promise.
Saniya added that she hadn't taken any money for free. She has worked on her designs and even given suggestions, so it wasn't an unjust demand. Saniya shared that while Dipika was firing her with allegations, she kept apologising to her. Saniya said:
"Mai ne unko bahut bola mam baitho, baat karni hai. Unhone bola mereko kaam hai uper hai, aur vo chale gaye. Vo 15-20 minute mein mujhko itna kuch bol kar chale gaye. Aur mai bas 'please please sorry sorry' karti rahe gayi waha par. Jabki meri koi galati thi bhi nai."
Saniya also revealed that she was so scared that she started crying and broke down. Later in the night, when she calmed herself, she dropped a text to Dipika and asked her to give her another chance. Instead, Dipika revealed the truth that she wasn't making her leave due to her mistakes but she had gotten a show, Celebrity MasterChef.
Sharing the screenshot of Dipika's message, Saniya revealed that the actress was planning to halt her label work as she had gotten a show. Not only this, Dipika revealed that she can't afford her heavy salary. However, she didn't see it coming. Dipika's WhatsApp text to Saniya can be read as:
"I'm sorry Saniya mai apki wajah se apko nahi keh rahi jaane ke liye, meri sistuation maine apko explain ki hai. Mere liye bhi bahut bada decision tha apko yahan bulana, rehne ka arrangement karna jo normally jobs mein nahi hota but I did because mai bhi chahti thiki ap aao. Lekin ab mere circumstances bahut alag hai, difficult hai. Mai apna business halt karne ka soch rahi hoon coz I have got a show. I told you. Aise me mai apko itne heavy salary pe kaise afford karun. As a startup I have my limitations Sania. Please understand."
Saniya revealed that after this message, she asked Dipika if she could come up to talk with her, but she denied it as it was too late in the night. Saniya shared another screenshot of Dipika's message, wherein the actress apologised to her and revealed that she couldn't retain her. Dipika told her that she had not foreseen that such circumstances would come into the picture. The actress further told her that she would book her tickets. And if she wanted, she could work with her on a freelance basis.
