The popular Indian filmmaker, Luv Ranjan, is a married man now after he had tied the knot with the love of his life, Alisha Vaid, in a hush-hush wedding at a plush hotel in Agra. The speculations and rumours about Luv Ranjan's wedding have been in the media for some time now, and it was on February 20, 2022, when he and his ladylove, Alisha Vaid, had rested them for once and all.
For the unversed, Luv Ranjan had made his directorial debut in Bollywood with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011. The film had broken numerous records and was one of the biggest hits of the year 2011. Since then, there is no looking back for him, and with films like Akaash Vani, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, he has created a name for himself in the Indian film industry. Also, Luv Ranjan is currently shooting with Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor for a much-awaited untitled rom-com.

According to a report in ETimes, popular filmmaker, Luv Ranjan got married to his longtime girlfriend, Alisha Vaid, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Agra on February 20, 2022. As per the reports, Luv Ranjan and Alisha took the plunge in the presence of their respective family members, relatives and close friends in a highly private affair. It is also reported that the wedding took place in a lavish hotel in Agra. Some of the celebrities, who attended Luv Ranjan's big day were the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Pritam, Sunny Singh, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kartik Aaryan, and many more. Also, the couple-in-news, Jaccky Bhagnani and his girlfriend, Rakul Preet Singh, also attended the wedding.
Talking about the decor and arrangements at Luv Ranjan and Alisha Vaid's wedding, the designers kept the couple's taste in their mind, while decorating the entire plush hotel. As per the reports, the pre-wedding ceremonies, haldi, mehendi and sangeet had kick-started two days prior to the wedding on February 18, 2022. As per the reports, for their different wedding ceremonies, Luv Ranjan and Alisha had donned stunning outfits from the mega-fashion designers, Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra. Although it was a star-studded affair, Alisha and Luv Ranjan had kept their wedding quite simple and was followed by an elegant reception party.

Talking about Luv Ranjan's wife, Alisha Vaid, the girl has been in the director's life since their college days, and it was their mutual interest in Arts which had got them closer. However, the couple rarely makes public appearances together. That is the reason why we haven't seen a single picture of the couple on the internet. However, jit was on February 19, 2022, when a rare picture of Luv Ranjan and his childhood sweetheart, Alisha Vaid, had made its way on social media and had won everyone's heart.
Once in an interview with Scroll, Luv Ranjan had opened up about his views on marriages. The director had explained the concept of weddings in India and how it works in different sections of society. He had explained:
"In India, they say that marriage happens between two families. But in cities, friends have become the new family. So for a marriage to work, it is imperative that your friends like the new person in your life and vice versa. It is saas-bahu with a twist."
