Disha Parmar celebrated her first Makar Sankranti after her wedding. She donned a black silk saree and jewellery made out of grains for the festival.

In Marathi culture, Makar Sankranti holds a very important value, and the Marathis celebrate it with full enthusiasm. Television actress, Disha Parmar also celebrated her first Makar Sankranti post-wedding with her husband, Rahul Vaidya, and other family members.
After a grand proposal on Disha’s birthday in 2020, and the reciprocation from Disha’s end on Valentine’s Day 2021, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had tied the knot on July 16, 2021. the couple had posted their first-ever picture from their wedding on their respective IG handles on July 17, 2021. In the picture, ‘Dishul’ fondly called by their fans, were seen performing wedding rituals during phere. The newlyweds had captioned the picture with their wedding date:
"16.07.2021".

A few moments back, taking to her IG handle, Disha posted a series of pictures from her first Makar Sankranti celebration at her home. In the pictures, we can see Disha and Rahul performing the rituals and posing happily for the camera. The much-in-love couple also got some photos clicked with their family members. Sharing the pictures, Disha wrote:
"Just a few Happy Moments with the Happy people from my 1st ‘Makar Sankranti’ function."
The photos showed Disha and Rahul's house decorated with balloons and flowers, and the couple twinned in matching outfits. For the celebrations, Disha wore a black silk saree with an orange and golden broad border, and on the other hand, Rahul looked dapper in a black kurta-pyjama. She completed her look with mangalsutra, a kamarbandh and traditional jewellery made of grains, which included a nath, a maang teeka, two neckpieces and matching earrings.

On September 22, 2021, Disha Parmar had taken to her Instagram handle and had wished her husband, Rahul Vaidya, on his birthday. She penned a lovely note and posted some love-filled mushy pictures from their visit to the Maldives. The couple was staying at the Male island, the capital of the Republic of Maldives and had a big celebration. In the late-night pictures, both Disha and Rahul had looked lovely in their respective comfy outfits. Along with the pictures, Disha had written:
"Happy Birthday to the Love of My Life! Am lucky that i got you! @rahulvaidyarkv."
In an interview with SpotboyE, Disha had mentioned that Rahul is her lucky charm, as she had got the television show, Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2.0 just after their marriage. She had said:
"The secret is actually my husband. I will give him all the credit in the world. I keep telling him that as soon as we got married I got this show. So, you are very lucky for me. I think it’s because of him that I am able to strike a balance between my personal and professional life."
On the work front, Disha Parmar is currently seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2.0.
