Television actress, Disha Vakani rose to fame as 'Dayaben' or 'Daya bhabhi' in the sitcom, Taraak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma. The famous comedy show is known to bridge the generational gap, and everyone in the family happily watched it together. Every year Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma reaches new heights of stardom, and as the show completed fifteen years, producer Asit Modi shared a special announcement.
Reports and claims of Disha Vakani returning to television have been making rounds for six years. However, the producer, Asit Modi, for the first time, opened up about it and confirmed the return of everyone's favourite Disha. During a special event that showcased a recap of the show's beautiful journey, Asit Modi shared the surprise news.

Asit Modi revealed that one artist that no one can forget is 'Dayaben', played by Disha Vakani. He revealed that fans have been eagerly waiting for her to return to the show, and make them laugh all over again. He promised that she would soon return to the show.
Disha Vakani tied the knot with the businessman, Mayur Padia on November 24, 2015. The couple had an arranged marriage. In the year 2017, the duo welcomed a daughter. After which, the actress had tookernity leave. Later, in 2022, Disha embraced motherhood with the arrival of her second child. The gorgeousness got blessed with a baby boy. In an interaction with The Times of India, Disha Vakani's brother, Mayur Vakani, confirmed the news. Mayur, who plays the role of 'Sunderlal' in the show, had said:
"I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again. I am very happy."
We cannot wait to see Disha Vakani back in the show!
