The guy, Kiranjit Sidhu, proposed to his lady love in a way so romantic, which would leave the entire female fraternity green with envy.

Their story reconfirms one’s faith in destiny and is no less than a Bollywood masala romantic flick. The two first met at the Bhangra Empire, in Palo Alto California. But, this actually was not the first time when they were together in the same premises.

A few years ago, the two bhangra fans were at the same event without even knowing each other. While Kiranjit got lucky enough to have the last photo of the night clicked with singer Malkit Singh, Poonam was right there in the queue behind, extremely jealous of this jerk (Kiranjit) getting clicked with the star. And, if that was not enough, the two moved to California, in the same city, on the same street and never met for three years!

But when they did, there certainly was no looking back. After dating for a few years, Kiranjit secretly flew to Poonam’s parents in Los Angeles to ask them, for her hand in marriage to which they said yes! He then planned the biggest surprise that Poonam could ever imagine in her wildest dreams. He pretended he was going to London for a work trip, while actually he was in LA, getting the proposal set up.

While his family and friends practiced at full swing, his cousin kept his London visit look authentic by posting Facebook check-ins in London.

And then, Poonam was brought to Disneyland by her cousin on pretext of an annual trip. Unaware that this is going to be the most special day of her life, Kiranjit along with his flash mob crew performed bhangra on romantic and peppy dance numbers from Bollywood followed by a ‘down on one knee’, popping-out-the-ring kind of a proposal.
