It was the eve of one of India’s most awaited weddings — Jeet Adani, the younger scion of the Adani empire, was set to marry Diva Jaimin Shah, daughter of renowned diamond merchant, Jaimin Shah. The palatial lawns of the royal venue were bathed in soft golden light, and the gentle notes of music had started weaving magic in the air. But little did Jeet know, that Diva had planned something unforgettable just for her soon-to-be husband.
Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah tied the knot on February 7, 2025, after vibrant pre-wedding festivities. A heartwarming behind-the-scenes moment from their lively ‘Mastani Mehendi’ recently surfaced, capturing Diva’s sweet surprise for Jeet. Their dreamy celebrations, joyful vibes, and unique style have since become the town’s favourite wedding story!
In a video shared by the wedding page, ShaadiBTS, Diva Jaimin Shah was seen catching the perfect moment to surprise Jeet Adani. While the couple sat side by side, Jeet was engrossed in his phone. Suddenly, as the iconic dhol beats of O Re Chhori from Lagaan filled the air, Diva broke into an impromptu dance, leaving everyone pleasantly surprised.
The groom, Jeet, was completely unaware of what was about to unfold. As Diva Jaimin Shah suddenly turned away with a playful smile, she began lip-syncing to the song, gracefully dancing her way toward the stage. When the camera panned back to Jeet, his eyes sparkled with delight. Soon, the lively energy spread throughout the venue, with guests joining in, dancing to the beats and celebrating the fun-filled, heartwarming moment between the couple.
Jeet and Diva’s mehendi ceremony was a vibrant affair with unique and artistic decor. The event followed a playful theme called ‘Carnival Mastani Mehendi’, brought to life with lively colours and creative details. One of the highlights was a stunning crochet blanket, handcrafted by 50 women from their homes, adding a heartfelt touch. The venue featured cane-weave furniture with bright cushions, cosy seating, flower-adorned cane walls, and a dreamy floral canopy of orange and yellow sheer fabrics, creating a whimsical, festive atmosphere.
For the celebrations, Diva opted for bold and experimental looks. While she chose a traditional Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for her sangeet, she stunned in an Anamika Khanna ensemble for both the welcome dinner and the mehendi ceremony. She wore a muted-toned, embellished co-ord set, accessorised with a statement haar and matching ear cuffs. Her henna-clad hands beautifully enhanced her bridal glow. Jeet complemented her perfectly, looking dapper in a pastel kurta set paired with a floral jacket.
Diva Shah and Jeet Adani got engaged back in March 2023, and the two share a deep commitment to philanthropy and giving back to society. To make their wedding a memorable affair, the couple pledged Rs. 10 lakh each towards the weddings of 500 women with disabilities every year. In keeping with their compassionate outlook, they chose to forgo an extravagant celebration and instead focused on supporting meaningful causes close to their hearts.
