There was a time when the winner of the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT, Divya Agarwal and Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 fame, Varun Sood, were referred to as the most sought-after couples in the television industry. However, with time the cracks started appearing in their relationship, and in the end, the ex-couple decided to part ways with each other. Although it was a mutual breakup, it was heartbreaking news for their millions of fans, who were waiting to hear news about their marriage.
For the uninitiated, it was on March 6, 2022, when Divya Agarwal had shared a picture of herself on Instagram in which she had revealed half of her face. Along with the photo, she had penned a long caption to confirm her breakup reports with Varun Sood. In her note, the actress had bared her heart out, and an excerpt from the same could be read as:
"Life is such a circus! Try n keep everyone happy, expect nothing that's true but what happens when the self love starts declining ? No i don't blame anyone for anything that's happening to me.. I feel worked up .. and that's okay .. I want to breathe n live for myself .. that's okay! I hereby formally declare that I'm on my own in this life and would like to take my time to live the way I want to!"

In an interview with TellyChakkar, Divya Agarwal opened up about her ex-boyfriend and television actor, Varun Sood and their breakup. When the actress was asked to reveal the reason behind their breakup, Divya explained how she could not see any future with Varun. Hence, she decided to part ways with him. The actress also revealed that when she had announced her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Varun, she had received a lot of hate and trolling from netizens, which was quite disheartening. Reflecting on their breakup after being with each other for four years, she said:
"I could not see my future with Varun, and hence I decided to end the relationship on a good note. It was my decision to put the news of our break–up on social media and I received a lot of flak for my decision."
Even after their breakup, Varun Sood and Divya Agarwal share a friendly bond with each other. For instance, on April 2, 2022, the ex-lovebirds were spotted in the city, as they had attended a fashion event together. In the photos, Divya could be seen getting escorted by her ex-beau, Varun, inside the hall. The gorgeous actress had donned a green-hued strappy top, which she had paired with grey-coloured pants. On the contrary, Varun was spotted wearing an all-black ensemble. As soon as the pictures from the same had surfaced on the internet, Varun and Divya's fans got excited and started speculating about their patch-up.

For the unversed, it was on March 10, 2022, when Divya had taken to her Twitter handle and opened up about the things she had been facing since her breakup. In the post, Divya admitted that people have been forcing her to get back to Varun, which is simply impossible for her. Further addressing her fans, she had requested them to stop trying to put pressure on her. She had written:
"You know what hurts the most? people want to see me somewhere and I don't want to be there. They force, they threat, they cry.. nobody knows what happens in a house.. nobody needs to know ! This social pressure will not move me one bit ! SO STOP TRYING!"
