Many called her a golddigger and trolled her. Divya always shared that an infinite love bound them, even when they were not together, and she always wanted to marry Apurva. Divya Agarwal is super excited to get married, and it shows that she has been talking about her big day for months. On December 13, 2023, we stumbled upon her 'Save The Date' wedding announcement. In the clip, we can see Divya and Apurva's caricature, the bride-to-be was donning a deep-back gown. Atop it, the illustrator revealed the details of how Divya and Apurva are all set to get married.

On November 10, 2023, Divya took to her Instagram handle and posted some pictures in Indian wear. The actress looked stunning in a floral black-hued anarkali suit, which featured v-neckline and matching dupatta. Divya styled her look with jhumkis. She kept her look subtle with soft makeup, a bindi, and hair left open. Along with it, Divya penned a note and announced her marriage.
She revealed that finally 'it's happennig' as she is ready to get married. She also revealed that she is glowing because of the blessings in her life. She wrote:
"Indian hits different now… finally it’s happening… I’M GETTING MARRIED. The glow and the calm is all because of the feeling of being blessed and grateful. Satnaam waheguru…"
In an interview with The Times of India, Divya talked about her relationship with Apurva after her surprise engagement. She revealed that she had dated him in the year 2015, and in 2018, they parted ways. However, they kept in touch and remained friends. Divya also revealed that when she broke up with Varun in March 2022, she was going through a tough phase, and Apurva helped her.
Divya also shared that Apurva was the one who stood by her like a rock. She added that she never expected a proposal from him, but in her mind, she always knew he was the one. Divya was quoted as saying:
"After Varun and I broke up in March 2022, I was going through a tough phase. Apurva was there for me like a best friend, who stood by me like rock. So, though I was not expecting a proposal, in my mind I knew that he was the kind of guy I wanted to marry."
