One constant name on Indian television is of none other than Dr Ishita Bhalla a.k.a. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya from Ye Hai Mohobbatein. Growing up as a tomboy, little did Divyanka know that one day, she will be the most beloved bahu of television. With the sheer dedication and hard work, Divyanka has now come a long way from the bylanes of her hometown, Bhopal and is reigning the Indian television. Just like her character of a perfect bahu, Divyanka enjoys all the traditional festivals in her real-life too.
Recently, Divyanka shared some festive pictures in which she is looking radiant in an orange saree with golden border. Banoo Main Teri Dulhann actress captioned the pictures from the auspicious occasion as, “Incomparable love of your #WomenBrigade back home! Sharing memories from Bhopal. #PoojaPaath #PamperingAtHome #PictureCredit : @divyagupta_dgpixx”. Divyanka can be seen all decked up as a nayi naveli bahu, and in one of the pictures, a lady is applying alta (a red dye applied on women during marriages and festivals) on Divyanka’s feet.
Divyanka is enjoying this festive mood in her hometown to the fullest. In February 2018. Divyanka and her hubby, Vivek Dahiya went to her hometown, Bhopal to attend a family wedding. Post the wedding, Divyanka received a pleasant surprise from her mother and her mother’s friends. The women brigade organised a puja called Suhagalen for Divyanka which was due from a long time. Sharing pictures from the puja, Divyanka wrote, “Always got surprise parties, surprise pooja was a first! Mumma's friends arranged for long due 'Suhagalen' for me (A pooja meant for newly-wedded women). Thoughtfulness wins hearts. #CelebratingMarriage #SuhaganMode”.
Divyanka Tripathi met Vivek Dahiya on the sets of their show, Ye Hai Mohobbatein, gradually fell in love with each other and created their own La La Land. Ever since they tied the knot on July 8, 2016, Divyanka and Vivek have been giving major couple goals to everyone out there. Now after two years of marital bliss, everyone is wondering when will their favourite couple, Divek (as fondly called by their fans) will embrace parenthood . In an interview with Hindustan Times, Vivek clarified, “These are just rumours. We’re not planning a family already. There are a lot of milestones that need to be achieved. We just want to be ready, I don’t think we’re ready right now.” Divyanka and Vivek want to focus on their careers, and growth in their field is the priority for them.
Vivek further added, “The news came out that Divyanka was part of the Forbes list (2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100) and we were really happy about it. We aim to go higher. So, there’s a lot of motivation to keep pushing ourselves forward and achieve more. There’s a lot on our plate. I have things planned for myself career-wise.”
When asked if they get upset with such rumours about them doing the rounds, Vivek retorted, “I take it very positively. I think all these people who’re concerned about us have become one big family. You know how there are people in your family... your dadis and your aunts... speculating about when shall we have a baby? [Fans] are almost as close to us as our family. They’ve been part of our journey from the start and they know exactly, step by step, about how we came together.
