It has been three years since Nach Baliye season 8 had aired on the television and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya took to her IG handle to recall how wonderful her journey was with hubby, Vivek Dahiya. Posting a fan-edited video, Divyanka wrote, "Journey of a Couple...learning, falling, breaking, healing together. 3 years of Nach Baliye and what we cherish is how we bloomed through the weeks of rigorous training. Finding compatibility and understanding in most unusual circumstances, we realized we weren't there to prove anything to the world. We wanted to see love and respect in each others' eyes. That was it. Love to all participating couples in the show. It never is easy, physically or mentally. "WHAT WE CONQUER IS OURSELVES!" #NachBaliye #Divek #June25 @StarPlus."
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, post lifting the Nach Baliye 8 trophy, Vivek Dahiya had revealed if there is one special moment that made the journey special, it was his and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya's undying support for each other. Vivek had said, “I loved the whole process. It was very streamlined and each performance would give us a different high. Those few moments before the judges would announce our score, we would be standing there, holding each other and that was beautiful. Those minutes were really powerful.” (Also Read: Angad Bedi And His Baby Girl, Mehr's 'Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi' Moment Is All About 'Selfless Love')
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had revealed what she had really cherished in her Nach Baliye 8 journey, “I have really cherished Vivek’s company throughout this journey because I don’t know when will we work together again. This was a beautiful experience and I will always cherish it." Speaking of how difficult it was for him to dance, Vivek Dahiya had said, “I have got a better sense of dancing. I understand the different forms of dancing, I can understand body postures well. I don’t quality to be called a pro-dancer but you feel really good when you get full marks and you tell yourself, ‘yes you have nailed it’. I am a lot more confident now, but there is still a long way to go before we start calling ourselves professional.”
Last year, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had posted a flight selfie after she had wrapped up her shoot for the singing reality show late at night, and had captioned it as “After wrapping up around 2 am from #TheVoice...off to Bhopal "for work." It feels nice when home calls you for important things.” Her doting husband, Vivek Dahiya, in no time, had commented on her post sharing how proud he is of her and that she is an inspiration. Vivek had written, “Such a hard worker my wife is. My inspiration!” followed by a kiss emoji. Divyanka had replied to her husband’s comment with the most golden words, “@vivekdahiya and you inspire me! I always notice how you balance your work, fitness, friends, family and your mental peace! It’s not easy! See you at night… hopefully!” Aren’t they just too adorable?
Vivek Dahiya’s fame in comparison to his wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya’s stardom is often termed as the reason behind their differences in marriage. Setting the records straight, Vivek had opened about the same and how his wife Divyanka inspires him, in an interview with The Times Of India. Clarifying the speculations about trouble in their marriage, Vivek had stated, “Divyanka inspires me as an actor, as she has made it on her own. She hails from a small town and joined the industry over a decade before me. There is no competition or insecurity. These rumours are a work of fiction. We are so happy together that detractors want to pull us down. I find it stupid to even comment on my marriage or being compared to her. I am confident as an actor and am growing every day. Divyanka is supportive and both of us want to have our own journey as artists. We don’t discuss work at home unless we feel the need to. What works for us is the fact that there is no communication gap. We don’t have any reservation about sharing our deepest thoughts with each other, we are transparent.” (Also Read: Virat Kohli's 'Bhai Behen On Fire' Review For Anushka Sharma And Her Brother's Production 'Bulbbul')
