Diwali: Surbhi Chandna Wants To Be Karan Sharma's 'Phuljadi For Life', Fans Say, 'Rab Ne Bana Di...'

In a loved-up post on Instagram, Surbhi Chandna gushed about her first Diwali celebration as 'Mr and Mrs' with Karan Sharma. Her adorable pictures had fans gushing and saying, 'Rab ne bana di jodi.'

Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma's love story, from neighbours to life partners, is nothing short of the plot of a romance novel. What started as a chance meeting because Karan's parents invited Surbhi to his birthday bash became a relationship lasting nearly 14 years. So, Surbhi and Karan have celebrated Diwali together since they started dating. However, Diwali 2024 will be a special one for them nonetheless, as it will be their first time celebrating as a married couple.

Surbhi Chandna gushes about celebrating Diwali as 'Mr and Mrs' in a recent post

Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma have celebrated every Diwali together since they started dating. However, their love is as strong as during their first Diwali, and the former's recent post reflects that. Surbhi took to Instagram on October 31, 2024, with an adorable post that reflected her excitement about celebrating Diwali as a married couple for the first time.

The post featured multiple pictures, including some in which the couple was posing together. They are seen with their cute doggo, touching a thali of diyas, making a rangoli, and lighting a sparkler. A few solo shots of Surbhi and Karan are also included in the mix. In her caption, Surbhi expressed her excitement and also adorably wished fans on behalf of her pets, writing:

"I want to be your Phuljhadi For Life. 14 years of celebrating Diwali together and this year as Mr & Mrs quite Fun i must say. Diwali Greetings Family from Sukar & Heaven Sharma."

Surbhi Chandna shares a nostalgic Diwali throwback picture of her and hubby, Karan Sharma

Surbhi Chandna seemed to be reminiscing about her many Diwali celebrations with hubby, Karan Sharma before they tied the knot. The actress took to her Instagram story with a throwback picture from the couple's Diwali festivities back in 2015. Surbhi and Karan could be seen working together on a rangoli pattern of a peacock. She also wrote on her story:

"Such Fond memories with now husband then boyfee."

Fans gush over Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma's love-filled Diwali photos

Fans, who can never get enough of Surbhi and Karan's love for each other, flooded the former's comment section with Diwali wishes and admiration for the couple. One fan wrote, "Aap dono ko Diwali ki bahot bahot shubkaamnay. Nazar na lage," while another commented, "Caption is soooo wholesome as their love for each other touchwood they're literally a rab ne banadi Jodi fffr." Yet another wrote, "Together, they light up every moment."

Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma's first Karwa Chauth

2024 has been a year of firsts for the newlyweds, Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma. The couple celebrated their first Karwa Chauth this year, too. However, unlike Diwali, which they had celebrated together countless times, this was Surbhi's first time fasting for Karan. In her words:

"We have dated for almost 14 years, and I have never done a fast for him. And for Punjabis, the celebrations are grand. So, I am excited."

Surbhi further revealed that she wanted to keep up an old tradition her mom followed with Karan. It involved the preparation of parathas and aloo gobi ki sabji for the sargi ritual. At the same time, the couple said they wanted to make their own traditions as well. So, Surbhi decided to break the norm and give Karan a gift on Karwa Chauth instead.
