Doctor Bride, Ended Up Repeating Her Yellow Engagement Gown As A Lehenga On Her Wedding

Weddings are definitely one of the most-awaited days in a girl's life. Just like she dreams about her Knight in shining armour, the bride-to-be plans every detail of her wedding herself as it is the most important day of her life. From the decor, mehendi designs to the latest fashion in lehengas, every minute detail is planned accordingly.

However, the global pandemic has changed the entire meaning of weddings. From limited guests list to hush-hush preparations, weddings are no longer a gala affair, they used to be earlier. Off lately, we have seen prospective brides and grooms changing their wedding date or having an intimate ceremony amid some close family and friends. And our bride of the week too had a pandemic wedding. But her wedding trousseau had caught our attention.

Our bride of the week, Dr Samiksha Singh, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. But the highlight of her wedding was her attire. Due to the lockdown, Samiksha's pink wedding lehenga could not be delivered, but rather than being disheartened, this cheerful bride chose her engagement gown and walked down the aisle with the man of her dreams.

Dr Samiksha Singh chose her yellow engagement gown, with mirror work all over it and donned it with a yellow dupatta, which had a golden border. She also carried a pink dupatta over her shoulder. Samiksha accentuated her look with a matha patti, nath, jhumkas, necklace and pink bangles. She also complemented her look with a sleek kamarbandh, which made her gown look like a lehenga.

Samiksha kept her makeup minimal with a pink bindi, lipstick, glittery eyes. On the other hand, her groom had opted for an ivory-coloured sherwani with a red stole and safa. In one of the videos, the couple was seen dancing their hearts out and enjoying every moment of their wedding. From the bridal entry to their first dance as a married couple, everything was beautiful.
