The Netflix show, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein has become a huge sensation these days owing to its brilliant script and outstanding star cast. The show is all about a femme fatale in a small town of UP. Actress, Anchal Singh has aced her role of a seductress, without going over the top with it. She has shown that a femme fatale doesn’t have to wear black dresses or dark red lipstick to entice men. Her portrayal of a temptress has made her a social media sensation. While scrolling through her social media handle, we got hold of her brother’s wedding pictures, and we were impressed with how she had nailed her groom’s sister look.
Talking about Anchal Singh, she was born on April 5, 1992, in Chandigarh. She has worked in various critically acclaimed shows and movies like The Wife -Till Death Do Us (2021) and Zakhmi (2020). You must have seen her in many TV commercials, and she has over the years worked with celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Hrithik Roshan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and others.

Scrolling through Anchal Singh’s Instagram account, we got hold of pictures from her brother’s wedding. Keeping in mind how a sister is always on the run at their siblings' weddings, Anchal’s outfit had looked like a perfect inspiration. She had ensured that her look is neither over-the-top nor too vague as she had donned a mustard-coloured A-line suit for her brother’s wedding. While the neckline of her kurta was enhanced with golden embroidered, similar work was created on the 3/4th bell sleeves of her kurta. She had completed her look with a purple-hued cut-work border dupatta with golden thread work over it. Keeping it minimal, she had added a maangteeka and golden bangles to her look.
Well, not many people know but Anchal Singh had already made it to fame with Ranbir Kapoor’s famous advertisement for Asian Paints in 2017. Yes, we all remember the humourous Asian Paints ad to promote their waterproof paint range, where Ranbir plays the character of a romantic rainmaker. In the ad, Anchal had played the role of Ranbir’s girlfriend, whose parents were getting her married. Till the time her parents had agreed to get them married, Ranbir used to come to her wedding venue and sing to make the clouds rain. The ad was loved by the audience and its jingle had become an instant favourite for all.

Anchal Singh is a graduate of Political Science Honours from the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. She had made her debut in the entertainment industry with a commercial for Dena Bank. Along with studies, she had started working in various ads and had ultimately realised that she has a knack for acting and had moved to Mumbai. Her debut film, Sri Siddhartha Gautama had become the highest-grossing film in Sri Lankan cinema history. She had made her Tollywood debut with the film, Dhilluku Dhuddu. She had made her OTT debut with the web series, Undekhi in 2020.
