The Wedding Album Of 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' Actress Priya Tandon And Director Rudra Anand

Television actress Priya Tandon got married to director Rudra Anand on December 5, 2015. Priya played the role of Princess Swarnalekha in the Zee TV drama, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani and is currently essaying the role of Sameera in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.

Know The Couple

Rudra and Priya are originally from Delhi, and are working in Mumbai. They met while shooting for an episode for Life OK’s series, Savdhaan India in Delhi, but lost contact soon after the shoot ended. However, the two met again in Mumbai and revived their friendship, which soon blossomed into love. Coming from the same place (Delhi) also helped them find a common ground.

The Wedding

Priya and Rudra took their relationship to the next level by tying the knot on December 5, 2015. Their nuptials were held in Delhi with only their close family members in attendance. It was a very private affair and when Priya was asked about her marriage, this is what she had to say about it:

"Yes, I got married and it was a beautiful time with my family and friends. Rudra and me both belong from Delhi, but are working in Mumbai. Being from the same industry has worked in our favour as we both understand each other much better.”

Priya looked the typical Punjabi bride in a deep red lehenga complete with the chooda and the kalire. Her heavy jewellery completed her look. Rudra, complemented her well in a golden kurta with a red safa.
