In a 2013 interview with the IANS, Sakshi had talked about her journey. She had said, "I had no plans of even reaching here. I have been very blessed and God has been very kind to me. I never thought that after Kahaani... there would be such a jump. The kind of success I saw with Kahaani, it’s enough to last me a lifetime." Sakshi had confessed that her bond with Ekta Kapoor has developed with time. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sakshi had shared that earlier her relationship was more professional. They would only meet once or twice on the set, and she was all very scared of her. She had also shared, "f ‘Ekta’ is flashing on your mobile matlab daant padegi. Now she’s more calm. She understands the pressures that everyone goes through. Both professionally and personally she has grown into this beautiful mommy Ekta." To this, Ekta, who was present there had given a sweet reply and had said that she has grown into a calmer person, "I think I’m still a terror, but my claws have turned to paws. I think I’ve mastered the art of controlling my temper, because at times it causes more damage in the workplace."
