On April 7, 2020, legendary actor, Jeetendra turned a year older and his family planned a quiet birthday party for him. His son, Tusshar Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and gave us a glimpse of how he celebrated his father's birthday. In the picture, we can see Jeetendra cutting a cake with his grandson, Laksshya Kapoor, while his wife, Shobha Kapoor held a knife with him. On the other hand, Ekta was seen holding her son, Ravie.
Ekta also took to her Instagram handle and shared how she made her daddy, Jeetendra's birthday extra special. She posted a video, wherein, we can see her holding her son, Ravie and singing, 'Happy birthday', while her father was feeding Laksshya a bite of cake. Alongside it, Ekta wrote, "Happy bday papa. Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Jeetendra had revealed his excitement of becoming a grandfather again when Ekta had embraced motherhood. He had stated, “Shobha and I were over the moon when we heard it first. We are looking forward to him coming home. Our family makes daily rounds of the suburban hospital where the baby is currently under supervision. My family says he (Ravie) looks just like me, but then, a child's looks keep changing every day. It's tough to say who he will resemble in the future. Now, I have Laksshya and Ravie — they are the apple of my eye. In an interview with Firstpost, Jeetendra had shared his opinion on his kids deciding not to tie the knot. He had said, "I believe one must be happy in life. (It doesn't matter) whether you are married or single. For me, the idea was that Tusshar and Ekta should have someone to come back home to. A baby is the biggest blessing and responsibility to have. With responsibility comes to passion, love, happiness and a purpose in life. There cannot be a bigger responsibility than taking care of a baby."
