Erica Fernandes Admits Dating Someone For 3 Years, Reveals How Rumours With Parth And Shaheer Affect

Erica Fernandes admits she has been dating someone for the past three years. She also revealed how dating rumours with Shaheer Sheikh and Parth Samthaan affect her relationship.

When the cameras stop rolling, some on-screen co-stars take their relationship to the next level and date in real life but sometimes, such reports are just media-made. Even though some celebrities come out and clarify the rumours, reports just don't seem to fade away. And no doubt these conjectures affect their real-life relationships but it's just part and parcel of the industry and fame. When Erica Jennifer Fernandes had made her debut in the Hindi television industry with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, the rumours of her dating her co-star, Shaheer Sheikh had hit the headlines. Then when Erica had begun working for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, her dating speculations with co-star, Parth Samthaan had churned in the gossip mills. However, Erica had, time and again, refuted all such rumours pertaining to her personal life as she was already dating a man, who isn't from the industry, and the speculations were affecting her relationship.

Before we reveal how the fans had gotten to know about Erica Jennifer Fernandes' mystery man, first things first. Erica, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, revealed that she has been dating someone for the past three years and the details about their relationship. Hinting towards a TV actor when asked if she's dating a celeb, Erica retorted, “I don’t think so, because he is not from the industry.” Revealing her beau watches her show sometimes but doesn't like her romancing on-screen, Erica laughingly said, “He does like watching a little bit of my work but he doesn’t like to watch when I romance any other guy. Woh uth ke chala jaata hai, ki ‘nahi dekhna mujhe’."

Revealing that they are very good friends and elaborating on the equation she shares with her beau, Erica Jennifer Fernandes shared, “Aisa nahi hai ki relationships mein ups and downs nahi hote. Hote zaroor hai. Woh understanding hona bohot zaroori hai ki jab koi gussa hai toh doosra chup rahe aur samjhe. Baad mein, jab sab kuch cool down ho, tab hum discuss karein. I think that thing is there between us and that is how we have held it together.” When asked if the dating rumours with Shaheer Sheikh and Parth Samthaan affects her relationship, Erica replied, “See...kahin na kahin affect toh hota hai. It was in January 2020, when Erica Jennifer Fernandes' dating rumours had finally rested as she had shared a glimpse of the someone special in her life. Confirming being in love, Erica had posted a picture wherein she could be seen holding someone’s hand and had sported a ring that has the initial of her name carved on it. Clarifying that she’s not engaged, Erica had written, “When I’m with you, i act different , in a good way ofcourse. I always smile more, i always laugh more With you i can drop the fake smile (if any) and put on a real one. I don’t feel hurt or alone when I’m with you instead i feel safe and loved You’re easy to talk to and you listen to me . I don’t feel sad around you and you show me that you really do care in-fact i can see that you’re not pretending. I really appreciate what you’ve done and continue to do coz with you I’m different I’m happy #us p.s :- if thats what your thinking then Nah not engaged.”

Soon Erica Jennifer Fernandes’ post was flooded with congratulatory messages and one amongst them was her close friend, Ekta Kapoor. Ekta had commented, “Waaaahhhhhhh” followed by an array of heart emojis. Erica’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 co-star, Sonyaa Ayodhya too, had commented on her post, “Kisses and hugs xoxo” which was also followed by an array of heart emojis. Later in an interview with Pinkvilla, Erica Jennifer Fernandes had revealed why she had posted a picture with only a glimpse of the mystery man in her life and had clarified, yet again, that she isn’t engaged. Erica had stated, “When I put up the post, I didn't think too much as honestly, this was just a general post about my personal life and space. A lot of people think I am very secretive in certain aspects, but that is not true, as I prefer being more private about my personal life. So today I just thought of opening up a bit more to people so that they can know a little more information about my own space, but again not too much!
