Hema Malini’s daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol too must have felt the absence of their grandmother, Jaya Chakravarthy. The veteran actress, Hema shared pictures of her daughters with their late grandmother and they are priceless.
In May 2020, Esha Deol had remembered her late grandmother, Jaya Chakravarti. She had posted a throwback picture with her and her mother, Hema Malini, in one frame on her IG handle. Esha had captioned her childhood picture as:
"#throwbackthursday #threegenerations my Grandma Amba (#jayachakravarty), my mamma @dreamgirlhemamalini & me! #stayhome #staysafe."

A few hours back, taking to her IG handle, Hema Malini shared a series of priceless pictures of her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol with their late nani, Jaya Chakravarti. From their childhood photo with their nani to happy moments from a party, Hema shared some memorable photos. In one of them, one can also spot Dharmendra. Sharing the pictures, Hema Malini wrote:
“Amma was the pivot of the family and she ruled like a true matriarch. She loved all her grandkids equally and enjoyed being surrounded by them. Her birthday was great fun with ‘Amba’ as the kids called her, celebrating with the whole family around her Photos taken on her spl day.”
For the unversed, Hema Malini was born to late V.S. Ramanujam Chakravarthy and late Jaya Chakravarthy. Time and again, we have seen her sharing unseen pictures of her parents from her memory lane. On January 3, 2022, Hema Malini had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a series of pictures with her late mother, Jaya Chakravarthy, from the beautiful time they had spent together. The picture thread had featured some solo pictures of her mom from her younger days, and it had showcased an unreal resemblance between the mommy-daughter duo.

Along with the pictures, Hema Malini had penned a lovely note in the caption of her post, in which she had called her mother 'my sheet anchor'. Her caption could be read as:
"Remembering my lovely mother, my sheet anchor who is still guiding me from above. She was easily the main strength of our family, a veritable power house who was respected by all in the industry. We love you Amma and miss you so much. #bestmother #rememberingmom #mothersblessings.”
Hema Malini had got emotional on her mother's death anniversary on January 26, 2021. The doting daughter had taken to her IG handle and had shared a priceless picture with her mother. Along with the photo, Hema had also penned a note in the memory of her late mother which could be read as:
"My mother Smt Jaya Chakravarthy, affectionately called Mummy by all who knew her was an iconic figure in Mumbai, respected by everyone. She left us on this day 17 yrs ago. To me she was everything- she made me what I am & moulded my career. I feel her presence guiding me even today."
