Bollywood actress, Esha Deol opened up about her parenting style and revealed how it is different from her mother, Hema Malini.
Veretan actors, Hema Malini and Dharmendra's daughter, Esha Deol is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. Apart from being a stunning actress, she is a doting wife to her husband, Bharat Takhtani and a loving mother to her daughters, Radhya and Miraya. For the unversed, she tied the knot to Bharat on June 29, 2012, and they welcomed their first child in 2017. However, Esha and Bharat's family got completed after they welcomed their second child, Miraya in 2019. Though the actress prefers to keep her daughters away from public attention, recently, she opened up about them and talked about her parenting style.
In an interview with the Times Of India, Esha Deol opened up about her daughters, Radhya and Miraya. On being asked about her parenting style, the actress revealed that she is a "panda parent". Further, Esha mentioned that she allows her kids to make their own choices as it will help them build a successful careers for themselves. Further, the Dhoom actress said that she feels that along with being supportive, it is important for parents to be a little strict with the kids to make them disciplined. In her words:
"I am definitely a panda parent. I think giving your child space and allowing them to learn and make choices from a very young age is important in shaping them into who they are going to become. When they grow up, they should be confident and make their own choices and pursue their dream careers. I also think it's important to be disciplined and have respect for other human beings. I am a bit more possessive too."

Further, in the same conversation, Esha revealed how her parenting style is different from her mother, Hema Malini. Talking about the same, she stated that her mother's parenting style is more chill. Esha also mentioned that she is like her nani because she used to be a hands-on mother. She further said that her grandmother used to keep an eye on her mother and she was strict.
In the same conversation, on being asked about what is more rewarding, motherhood or career, Esha stated that she couldn't answer the question. Elaborating more on it, she said that she is a working mother and she has chosen this path for herself. Esha mentioned that she loves her kids, and at the same time, she is passionate about her work. The actress said that motherhood and her career, both are important parts of her life.

Further, Esha revealed how she deals with her kids' tantrums. Talking about the same, the actress stated that tantrums are a part of growing up and she allows her kids to do so. Esha also said that she makes her daughters understand what is wrong and right. Revealing how their daughters often ask her to carry them at the same time, Esha said:
"Tantrums are a part of growing up. When my kids throw a tantrum, I allow them to do so. Once they are done, I take over and explain why it's wrong or not good for them, and I tackle the reason for the tantrum. Some tantrums are cute, though. Sometimes both of them want me to carry them at the same time, or they both want to sit on my lap at the same time. That's kind of funny."
On June 6, 2023, Esha had taken to her IG handle and dropped a cutesy photo collage. In the photo, Esha and her daughters could be seen flaunting her pretty nail paints. Their colourful French nail paint looked beautiful and gave all summer vibes.
