In an interview, Esha Deol talked about working amidst the pandemic, but it was her daughters, Radhya Takhtani and Miraya Takhtani's pampering towards Hema Malini, that left us spellbound.
Veteran actors, Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter, Esha Deol, had found love in the businessman, Bharat Takhtani, and on June 29, 2012, she had tied the marital knot with him. After enjoying marital bliss for five years, Esha and Bharat had embraced parenthood for the first time in October 2017 and had welcomed a little princess, whom they have named Radhya. In June 2019, Esha and Bharat were blessed with a baby girl for the second time, and they named her Miraya.
Though Esha is quite active on social media, she hardly posts any pictures of her daughters, Radhya and Miraya, unlike other celeb parents. However, there is no doubt in the fact that these little munchkins occupy a major portion of their mother's life. Not only that, they are also pretty much close to their nani, Hema Malini. In an interaction with a leading publication, Esha spoke about the concern that her daughters show towards Hema Malini when she comes back home.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Esha Deol talked about how she maintains all the safety protocols amid the pandemic as she has to go out for work. In her words:
“I am fully vaccinated and I am very cautious, whether at home or outside. I make sure I am following all Covid-19 norms. I am the kind of person who overdoes it, which is why some of my family members get annoyed and say ‘chill out’. But one should keep getting tested, sanitise, and have a bath after getting back home. You have got to function like that.”
However, when Esha was asked if her daughters, Radhya and Miraya, develop cold feet, she revealed that she has trained them in such a way that they are more careful than her. Going further, she also revealed that they ask her mother, Hema Malini, for her COVID reports, once she comes from outside. She explained:
“It is all my training. When my mother (actor Hema Malini) travels and comes back, they ask her ‘nani, wear your mask. Did you do your test? Where is your report?’ Mom was shocked! But they understand and know there is Covid, they cannot go out much. I have kept them busy with online classes, play time. They are still small and don’t have a social circle so to say.”

In an earlier interview with the Hindustan Times, Esha Deol had talked about about the significance of Navratri and had shared that she is making sure that her daughters, Radhya Taktani and Miraya Takhtani, adhere to the nine colours of Navratri. In order to usher women empowerment, she had also shared that it is important for every man to realise that a goddess resides in every girl.
In the same interview, she had also explained how she celebrates her Navratri and the values that she would like to pass on to Radhya and Miraya. She had said:
“We play shlokas from Mahishasura Mardini in the house in the morning and evening. Through both of my pregnancies, we chanted the Durga Saptashati. We’re doing it this year as well. It goes on for about one-and-a-half hours where we chant hymns to invoke the Goddess. When I had my daughters in my womb, I felt that they reacted to it. Now when we play it, they dance to it as if they’ve heard it before.”
