Neelam Kothari shared the screen with Aamir Khan in the 1991 romantic drama 'Afsana Pyar Ka'. Remembering the shoot, the actress recalled Aamir being very particular about his scenes.
Neelam Kothari debuted in showbiz when she was only 16 and took the industry by storm, ruling from the '80s until the early 2000s. The actress made her comeback with the reality TV series, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
During an interview with Radio Nasha, Neelam shared some details of her time on the screen with PK star, Aamir Khan. The actress recalled that Aamir was extremely particular about his scenes when the two were shooting for the film Afsana Pyar Ka.

The Hum Saath-Saath Hain star got nostalgic sharing the details of her experience shooting with Aamir. Neelam recollected that Aamir used to be exceedingly particular about his shots; he would ask for retakes till he was satisfied with his performance. She added:
"He was very, very particular about his scenes and performances. He would say, ‘Let’s do one more shot’ because he is that particular."
The Khatron Ke Khiladi actress shared that Aamir's simplicity was sweet. He was kind and respectful during their shoots and an absolute perfectionist. She highlighted remembering that she and Aamir completed shooting the lively song, Tip-Tip in just three days.
In the interview with Radio Nasha, Neelam also recalled her experience sharing the screen with Anand superstar, Rajesh Khanna. The two worked together in the 1989 movie Ghar Ka Chiraag. In Kothari's opinion, Rajesh Khanna was quiet and reserved on sets.
Neelam shared that Khanna, even though kept to himself, was still exceptionally helpful since her role in the movie was a mature character. Recalling the Dard actor, Neelam shared that he was a legend and his performance was pure beauty. The actress shared:
“He was extremely helpful because, for me, Ghar Ka Chirag was a mature character."
Neelam Kothari has shared the screen with Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Panday and Seema Kiran Sajdeh for two seasons. The actress recalled how she was also offered a small part in Masaba Masaba, a Netflix special by Neena Gupta and Masaba Gupta, soon after her return to the industry. Neela was recently seen in a segment of Made in Heaven.
For the uncertain, the third season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives was rebranded as Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Apart from the OGs, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Neelam Kothari, and Bhavna Panday, season three introduced three Delhi-based socialities and influential businesswomen, including a close friend of several B-town stars, Kalyani Saha Chawla, art collector, Shalini Passi, and jewellery designer and Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
