Dr. Sai Ganapathy who once alleged Alia Bhatt of getting botox and mocked her 'crooked smile' counter attacks the actress on his defence. Read on to know about his stance on the fiasco.
Alia Bhatt is one of the most gorgeous actresses in Bollywood. She never misses a chance to swoon her fans' hearts with her mesmerising acting skills. The actress began her career with Karan Johar's film Student Of The Year and went on to shine throughout her career over the years. The actress recently lashed out at people for alleging she was taking Botox shots, and now a doctor has countered her claims.
Dr. Sai Ganapathy was one of the many medical experts who called Alia Bhatt of getting botox and fillers and called her face crooked. He even highlighted that a side of Alia's face was paralysed due to Botox migration, which is why he was speaking weirdly. Defending his stance on Alia Bhatt's botox fiasco, Dr. Sai Ganapathy, in a conversation with the Hindustan Times said:
“It’s her personal opinion, I wouldn’t like to comment on that. I’d rather talk medically.” Defending his opinion in the video, the expert says, “It’s just a personal judgement, and I have not targeted anyone. It can happen to anybody, even some of my patients can face it. These kinds of complications do occur with aesthetic procedures and it’s nothing to worry about. It’s completely reversible.”
Dr. Sai Ganapathy added that it is completely normal for botox complications to happen. After seeing Alia's videos and the way she was talking, he realised that her procedure wasn't appealing and there was a minor application. Sometimes, the botox travels towards the risorius muscles, messing up the lips' movement. That is exactly what happened with Alia, which is why he called her smile crooked. Sai further said:
“After seeing her videos, I realised that when she must have got the botox done, something might have gone wrong. And it’s not a major but a minute complication, which can occur with any injector. Sometimes the botox migrate towards the risorius muscle if you put up any kind of movement. Thus, sometimes there is a dip movement when she speaks, the lips will be tilted as seen in the video, which I also saw in many videos that people had put up. So, that was the concern.”
Taking to her Instagram stories a few moments back, Alia Bhatt shared a note lashing out at the trolls for claiming that she had gotten Botox and other cosmetic procedures done. She added that she has no issues with people who have gotten work done, but she has a problem with people who are spreading fake allegations about her. She called out random videos and articles for ridiculing her 'weird way of speaking' and crooked smile. Alia added:
"Absolutely NO JUDGEMENT towards anyone who chooses cosmetic corrections or surgery-your body, your choice. But wow, this is beyond ridiculous! To the random video floating around literally claiming I've had Botox gone wrong (and to the numerous clickbait articles) - I have a "crooked smile" and a "weird way of speaking," according to YOU."
Alia added that as a celebrity, she goes through a lot of scrutiny daily, and even her baby bump is sometimes questioned. But the claims of her suffering facial paralysis are very serious, and she is not all pleased by people trying to bring her down. She further questioned the women's integrity and how they were trying to pull her apart when they should be uplifting each other. Alia Bhatt further said:
"This is your hypercritical, microscopic judgment of a human face. And now you're confidently tossing around "scientific" explanations, claiming I'm paralysed on one side? Are you kidding me? These are SERIOUS claims being casually thrown out there with zero proof, no confirmation, and absolutely nothing to back it up."
