While there have been rumours of their relationship hitting a rough patch, no one knew that they will end their affair.
Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE, Muskaan confirmed the news of breaking up with Faisal. She shared, "Yes, Faisal and I have broken up." There have been rumours that the two have parted way because of trust issues, and Muskaan was suspecting him of infidelity. When the website asked about the same, she did not deny it, and replied, "I am not in a position to talk any further. When I am a bit emotionally stable, I will speak to you." Muskaan also confirmed that the breakup happened just after Nach Baliye, "The break up happened after Nach Baliye 9". The actress has just gotten back to Mumbai after spending 15 days in her hometown after her breakup. However, Faisal hasn't yet come out in open to talk about his breakup.
For those who don't know, when Faisal and Muskaan had participated in Nach Baliye, there were rumours of the two faking their relationship. However, Faisal had denied it in an interview with BollywoodLife. He had shared, "They are all rumours! We would rather not do the show if we were not a real couple. Both of us belong to good families and would like to maintain that stance. It is a dance show and I cannot be fake it here!"
Faisal had also talked about his relationship with Muskaan, and had said, "It’s been more than one-and-a-half year. I don’t know how the rumours came up. Some say that since we don’t post much on social media, we have broken up. Why we would do a show if we were not together? You can see our chemistry on the show. In fact, when the news of Muskaan and me coming together on Nach Baliye came up, there were even rumours that we were about to get married.”
Talking about how love brewed between the two, Faisal had stated, "Muskaan didn’t know who I was and I guess, that made things even more comfortable between us. She was looking for a mobile charger, and I offered mine. That’s how we got talking. We met again the next day and by the third meeting, we realised that there was a certain chemistry between us.
