Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, sued for Rs. 850 crore legal notice after they shared the natural treatment that worked for them in curing cancer.
Navjot Singh Sidhu made waves last week when he announced in a press conference how he cured his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu. However, his revelation and natural remedies that helped his wife get better from stage four cancer, left everyone shocked. But he landed in trouble for the same, as he has been served with a legal notice by the Chhattisgarh Civil Society the controversial claims.
Congress leader, Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been served with a Rs. 850 crore notice by the Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS). As per a report by Bussiness Times, Dr. Kuldeep Solanki hit back at Sidhu's statement and stated that he confused people by putting a wrong thought about allopathic medication, and it had further raised the danger of death.
Dr. Solanki further given the Sidhu family a week's time to provide evidence supporting the claims they made in the public. A legal action would be taken if they failed to do so. He further claimed that spreading false information might put other patients' health at risk.
On November 21, 2024, Navjot Singh Sidhu hosted a press conference, wherein he claimed that opting for natural remedies and changing his wife's diet plan helped overcome the cancer. He added that his wife's doctors had given her only '40 days' to live. Sidhu shared that he studied the the cancer cells and he realised how it is caused by certain products like milk, wheat, refined maida and sugar.
However, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been facing al ot of criticism from several health experts. Navjot Singh SIdhu shared his studies and interpretations he came up with. He said:
"Cancer feeds on sugar, so the lifeline of cancer, ayurveda, American doctors, research in India, I read everything for 10 hours, and the common denominators, and then cutting sugar, atta, maida, aerated drinks, all of these gone. Samosa jalebi gone."
Sidhu stated that cancer cells die automatically when they are deprived of sugar and carbohydrates. The director of Tata Memorial Hospital pointed out how the video imply that starving the cancer by not eating dairy products can cure her 'incurable cancer' and highlighted the potential dangers of such statement in public.
