Days after Farah Khan's mother, Menaka Irani's sudden demise, the filmmaker took to her Instagram account to pen a heartfelt post for her.
Popular Bollywood choreographer-turned-filmmaker, Farah Khan faced an incredible loss in her life just a few days ago. On July 26, 2024, Kamaal R Khan (KRK) took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to disclose that Farah and Sajid Khan had lost their mother, Menaka Irani. Days after her mother's demise, the filmmaker took to her Instagram account to share that she will soon return to work.
On August 5, 2024, Farah shared a few throwback pictures with her late mother and penned a long note revealing how incredible her mother was. The 59-year-old disclosed that despite facing several tough phases in her life, her mom had no bitterness in her heart, nor did she ever envy anyone. Farah also mentioned that whoever has met her mother would know that she and her brother, Sajid get their humour from their mother.

In the same note, the filmmaker also shared how her late mother would always jump in to help anyone and everyone in need without even expecting any penny in return. Farah further thanked the people who were by their side after Menaka Irani's sudden demise and also acknowledged the outpouring of love for her mother. Meanwhile, she also thanked the hospital staff, who took care of her mother.
Furthermore, Farah shared that she doesn't want to grieve the loss of her mother as she will always be a part of her. Instead, she wants to celebrate her every day. Moreover, the filmmaker also announced that she would soon return to work as that was something her mother was always very proud of. Farah's note can be read as:

On July 12, 2024, the popular filmmaker took to her Instagram account to share a birthday post for her mother, Menaka. In a note, Farah mentioned that her mother had been the strongest and the bravest person she had ever seen in her life. She said that her mother's sense of humour was intact even after undergoing multiple surgeries. Farah penned:
"We all take our mothers for granted..especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much i lov my mom Menka.. she s been the strongest, bravest person iv ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home, can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u."
