Their wedding was a grand affair, as they got married in an Anand Karaj ceremony. For the uninitiated, Gurpartap Dhaliwal is a businessman and athlete. The couple got married on October 21, 2024, in Mumbai.
Fenil Umrigar wore a gorgeous rani pink lehenga for her Anand Karaj ceremony. Her outfit featured a beautiful, heavily embroidered lehenga with a fully-embellished blouse and sheer dupatta. Fenil turned Sikh bride for the ceremony. She opted for pretty red and white chooda and her hair was tied in a braid with a parandi.
On the other hand, her groom wore a cream-toned sherwani with a soft pink-toned turban. He styled his look with a heavy haar featuring pearl and golden beads. On the other hand, Fenil picked heavy polki jewellery to accessorise her look.
For the Hindu Vedic ceremony, Fenil picked a red-hued lehenga, which she teamed with a yellow-toned dupatta, which added a pop of colour to her look and made her stand out. Her look was accessorised with a heavy bridal choker, maang teeka and matha patti, matching earrings, and red chooda. Her groom, Gurpartap Dhaliwal opted for an ivory-toned sherwani with sequin work all over.
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Fenil talked about her relationship with Gurpartap Dhaliwal. She shared that she met her beau through common friends. They soon felt a strong connection and became fond of each other. She revealed that they started dating a year back. Soon their families met and now they are ready to take another step in their relationship. She said:
"We met two years back through a mutual friend and that's how became friends. But soon we both became fond of each other and we started dating a year back and then our families met and liked each other and now we are married. It all feels like a dream."
