It was on May 2022, when Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor had taken the first step towards their lifetime of togetherness with their engagement. And this was followed by a homely celebration of the couple taking the blessings of Sunny’s ailing grandmother, who was simply elated to witness their union.
And now, taking to her IG handle, Guneet announced her nuptials with her entrepreneur beau, Sunny on December 12, 2022. While the announcement was lauded by their friends and family, however, we could not miss out the style in which she shared the big news of her life. Well, taking inspiration from the classic Bollywood film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Guneet penned a long heartfelt note to elaborate on how the ‘Simran’ in her, long-awaited to meet the ‘Raj’ of her dreams in Sunny.

Guneet shared a happy picture of the couple dancing their hearts out, from their engagement festivities. She bore her heart out, revealing her sheer happiness through the caption to the post. An excerpt could be read as:
“DDLJ ruined me… Like every girl growing up in the 90s, I too have been on a constant lookout for my Raj ever since I was 18. Anyone I dated, I ran to my friends to tell them this is it, I found my partner for the rest of my life. Some even indulged me a couple of times but mostly rolled their eyes and wanted to say, “Guneet please just take your time”. I never wanted to take my time, my magical forever started from Day 1. I was ready to commit from Day 1!

Well, the couple had got engaged to one another on May 23, 2022. Being an avid social media user, Guneet had taken to her IG handle back then to share a glimpse of their happy moments together. The video featured the different engagement festivities that the couple had celebrated with their friends and family, as well as some mushed-up photos of the much-in-love couple.
