The official list of winners of the 69th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2024 with Gujarat Tourism has been revealed, and it features a lot of surprises. It was on January 28, 2024, when the who's who of the Bollywood industry turned up for the grand award ceremony in Gujarat. Popular stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and Varun Dhawan gave electrifying dance performances at the event.

Apart from the power-packed performances to a lot of hilarious moments, it was a memorable night for all the winners, who took the prestigious black lady home. Talking about the recipients, the Filmfare Award for Best Film was given to 12th Fail, while the Award for Best Film Critics' was won by Manoj Bajpayee's Joram.

Although Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan didn't win an individual award on the night, but his highest-grossing film, Jawan (Rs. 1,150.7 crore worldwide), took home two Filmfare Awards. It was also a memorable night for Alia Bhatt, as she won her fifth Filmfare Award, making her the third actress with the most Filmfare Awards (5), along with Nutan and Kajol. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's '12th Fail' ties at the 69th Filmfare Awards

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal was hands-down one of the most talked about films of 2023. A huge controversy erupted on the internet after the film's release, as so many people got triggered by its story and some specific dialogues. On the flip side, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film, 12th Fail received the most praise for its inspirational story, which was based on the love story of IPS Officer, Manoj Sharma and IRS Officer, Shraddha Joshi Sharma. Interestingly, both films won five awards on the night, which makes it a tie.
