Blackpink's Jisoo debuted her acting career with the K-drama, 'Snowdrop', and she charged this whopping amount for each episode. And it is way more than what experienced actresses get!
Kim Ji-soo, popularly known as Jisoo, is the lead singer and performer of the K-pop girl band, Blackpink. The K-pop princess is renowned not only for her vocal prowess but also for her impeccable fashion choices and actorial performances. Jisoo is a drama-old with having done only drama, Snowdrop.
Jisoo is in talks for appearing in several other dramas and films like Influenza and Omniscient Reader, respectively. She is gradually setting foot in the acting industry with many more upcoming projects. Although Jisoo is a newbie in the acting department, her paycheck is way fatter compared to what an experienced actress receives.

Jisoo debuted her acting career with the 2021 melodrama, Snowdrop. The story is set in 1987 Seoul. The drama depicts the love story of two university students. Though this was Jisoo’s debut drama, she received a paycheck of USD 80,000 per episode, which is way more than what a debutant receives. Snowdrop was a box office success, and Jisoo played a significant role in bringing massive viewership to the drama.
The drama had a total of 16 episodes, which means that Jisoo derived a cumulative amount of USD 1,280.000 at the end of the shooting tenure. The amount paid to Jisoo was negotiated owing to her roaring fame not only in South Korea but globally. Also, having Jisoo debut through the drama was in itself a promotional event.

Just a few days back, it was announced that Jisoo will soon feature in the crime thriller drama, Dr. Cheon And Lost Talisman for a cameo role. Shooting for the same, Jisoo dropped in pictures of her look from the drama. She looked ethereal in her traditional white Korean dress and braided hair.
