Flying Beast's Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee had an interesting love story where they were first co-workers, later married fighting against their family. Ritu even supported him when he left his job.
Flying Beast, aka Gaurav Taneja, is one of the most successful YouTubers in India. He is married to pilot and mom influencer, Ritu Rathee, and they are blessed with two daughters, Kaira (Rasbhari) and Chaitravi (Pihu). The couple has an ultra-successful family vlogging YouTube channel and is also an entrepreneur. Over the years, Gaurav and Ritu have succeeded exceptionally well in their professional front, but it seems like their personal front has been suffering.
Over the past few months, Ritu has been missing from their family vlogging channel and from all her social media accounts as well. Rumours of trouble in their paradise intensified when Gaurav took the kids for a vacation and did not mention Ritu anywhere. Before everything started going downhill for the couple, they were actually much in love and had a dreamy love story. So, without further ado, let's dive into it.
In one of their YouTube videos, Gaurav and Ritu shared that they first met when the former was already a captain, and Ritu had just joined the company as a pilot. The duo saw each other at a hotel, where Ritu instantly took a liking towards him. She later formally conversed with Gaurav through colleagues, but nothing happened.
After a few trials, Ritu learned Gaurav's full name and sent him a friend request on Facebook. There, the duo started talking and getting to know each other. Eventually, they fell in love, and Gaurav approached her for marriage. Although Ritu was also in love with him, she knew it would be a task to convince her father about her marriage.
Ritu hails from a conservative Haryanvi Jatt family, where she was the first in her clan to study abroad. Gaurav came from a different religion (Punjabi), and her family would never accept their relationship. So the duo decided they would not reveal Gaurav's religion and tie the knot. Ritu's side of the family was unaware of Gaurav's religion, even on the day of their wedding.
The duo got married, but their real test started soon after. Gaurav got fired from his job, and thereafter, he decided to study law and make a career out of it. All through his professional journey, Ritu supported him and even provided for the family. Even when Gaurav started his business, Ritu was his staunch supporter.
A few years back, the couple participated in Smart Jodi, where they revealed that after their first child was born, Gaurav thought he was no longer Ritu's priority as she was always busy feeding the baby and managing her sleep. He felt like she did not love him anymore. But later, when the duo talked it out, they realised that it was just a communication issue, as they struggled to adjust to their new roles.
No matter how perfect a couple may be on the exterior, there is always some problem brewing inside. As per the recent buzz, Ritu and Gaurav are now living separately as there are a lot of issues in their marriage. The kids are with Gaurav, and Ritu is planning to separate from her husband and be with her kids.
