The problem with social media is that everyone wants to portray their life's rosy sides, giving false hopes to people who become their fans and followers, and later, they call themselves influencers. When things fall and people question, it becomes a mental trauma for them. Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee went through the same media trial after the buzz of their separation made rounds. While Ritu's intention might be right to put across the message that she doesn't need anyone's support to fight her battles, the way she brought house help in the matter was a bit shocking for her fans. People started expressing their point of view on Reddit. In the video, Ritu was quoted as saying:

"Some facts, Am I an abla naari. No I am not. Reality check, the maid who comes to your house, vo abla naari hai. Uske ghar mein us par hazaar atyachar huye. I really wish ap uske ghar pr jao or uske issues resolve krte and kahte, 'We are in your army'. Mai saksham hoon apne bacho ko paalne ke liye."

Netizens react to Ritu's remark on maids

As soon as the video went viral, netizens expressed their point of view. Social media is place, where every person has an opinion, plus the renowned people, who share their personal life in public, become subject of internet's interest. Ritu's comment didn't go down well with the people. One user wrote, "What's wrong with her? Maids are abla naari? No, they aren't. Instead, they work hard and support their family with whatever they can. They have the guts to leave their abusive husband instead of making reel supporting him."

Now she is saying ki MEN pe Itni jaldi blame kyu dalte ho? Bruh wtf?? And she said she dont need any support youtube pe toh badi jaldi kehte hai support kro desh ke dhoni m support kro."

One of the netizens also wrote, "What were we expecting? This was bound to happen. Lol. And the "maid" she's talking about probably has more spine that her and her husband put together. Girl so disappointed."
