The seventh season of the famous reality show, Bigg Boss had brought popular celebrities, Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon under one roof. The two had started spending more time with each in the house and had felt something special between them. Over the course of the show, the two could be seen supporting each other and the two had eventually fallen in love with one another. On January 5, 2021, Gauahar Khan took to her Twitter handle and congratulated her ex-boyfriend and television actor, Kushal Tandon on an incredible feat as their iconic song, Zaroori Tha which was released on June 8, 2014, has crossed 1 Billion views on YouTube. This is a huge thing for both Gauahar, Kushal, legendary singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and the makers behind this because it was a non-film track. The actress retweeted VYRL Originals' tweet and wrote, "I am soooo fortunate to have been a part of this monumental project. On the other side, Kushal Tandon took to his Instagram handle and reposted the video shared by Devraj Sanyal and penned a long note along with it. In his note, the actor thanked all the makers for giving him the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible song. After which, he thanked Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for giving everyone this soothing song that is an epitome of pure love. Last but not the least, the actor thanked his newly-wedded ex-girlfriend, Gauahar Khan. Both Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon share a warm and friendly bond with each other after their breakup. The actor had also congratulated his ex-girlfriend on getting married to famous choreographer, Zaid Darbar. However, the actor hadn't attended Gauahar and Zaid's nikaah as according to him, he was shooting for his upcoming project in some other location. But the destiny had bumped the ex-lovers a few weeks ago during their flight to their respective destinations, and it was Kushal, who had shared its glimpses on his IG stories. The actor had shared multiple video clips and could be heard saying, "I met my sweet old friend, who has just got married and is sitting next to me. I'm not stalking her.
