In the mid-2020, rumours of actress, Gauahar Khan dating music composer, Ismail Darbar's son, choreographer, Zaid Darbar had started hitting the headlines. Their mushy posts and love-filled pictures had added up to the rumours. On November 5, 2020, Gauahar had confirmed her relationship with Zaid.
It was on December 25, 2020, when Gauahar had happily said qubool hai to her soulmate, Zaid Darbar. For her nikaah, Gauahar had looked mesmerising in an ivory sharara and double dupatta. Her look was accessorised with a statement neckpiece, a maang teeka and a passa. On the other hand, Zaid had looked dapper in an ivory sherwani.

Gauahar Khan is quite active on social media and often shares glimpses from her married life. On September 28, 2021, Gauahar shared an IG Reel, in which the stunning actress tried the trend, where women show the ring their partner proposed to them with. At the end of the video, we got a glimpse of Gauahar's huge diamond ring. Gauahar captioned the Reel as "#trend #reels @zaid_darbar not a #ringpop! Heheheheh." On Gauahar's post, Zaid commented, "But Where are the other rings?"
On December 28, 2020, Gauahar and Zaid had shared their first post-wedding pictures on their respective IG handles. In the pictures, Gauahar and Zaid could be seen twinning in grey, with wifey and hubby written on their respective t-shirts. Gauahar had looked gorgeous with her mehendi clad hands, mangalsutra and her huge engagement ring. Sharing the pictures, both Gauahar and Zaid had added a heart emoticon in their captions.

Gauahar and Zaid's wedding was not less than a fairytale. But do you know, before the wedding, Zaid had kept a condition for Gauahar and had told her that if she did not fulfil it, he would call off their wedding? Speaking about the same in an interview with Coffee Time with Griha, Gauahar had revealed, "Zaid told me I can put up with everything, your work schedule everything, but if you don’t wear mehendi on your wedding, then call this quits."
Gauahar and Zaid went for their honeymoon to Moscow, Russia, post six months of their wedding. Speaking about the same in an interview with Hindustan Times, Gauahar had said, "It was a honeymoon trip as we couldn’t go anywhere post our wedding. We both had work and though we visited a few cities in India, most were work-related. So when we learnt that Russia is open for tourists and we were hoping for a holiday, so we went ahead. We took all precautions and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a lot of fun and there were so many things to do. With everything that we have been through in this year, it was perfect."
