Gaurav Taneja's wife, Ritu Rathee, expressed her concern over the future of her two daughters in the viral video, as she seeks help from spiritual guru in Vrindavan.
Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee's relationship had hit rock bottom. The duo, who once would give us relationship goal, is now fighting to part ways. While Gaurav has shared his statement in the media and denied clarifying his side of the story, Ritu remains quiet and only re-shared the same post. Amidst it, a viral video from famous Vrindavan Guru, Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj, is being talked about, wherein a lady, who is identified as Ritu, was weeping profusely as she seeks help.
In the viral video, a weeping Ritu asked her question whether she should fight for the rights of her daughters to maharaji. While showing her the right path, maharaji enquired if her job pays her will to take care of her two daughters. She nodded that she earned well, but the only problem was that her job wouldn't be there forever, and to nurture her daughters, she might have to leave her job. She said:
"Par isme yeh dikkat hai prabhu meri naukari jindagi bhar nahi rahegi as a mother hone ke naate mujhe unko paalne ke liye, mujhe unko time dena padega toh mujhe apni naukari chorni padegi."
Let us clarify that the identity of the woman in the video has not been revealed yet, but an eagle-eyed fan spotted Ritu in the video. A fan shared a picture of crying Ritu with her head covered with dupatta and wearing her round glasses. She looked heartbroken. Another user found out Ritu wearing the same suit, which further proves she was the women in the video.

On September 28, 2024, Gaurav took to his Instagram handle and posted first-ever note addressing the same. He shared a picture note in Devnagri, which could be read as "Joi Joi mohe pyaar kare, soi mohe have." The line roughly means that people who love me, I love them back.
Along with it, Gaurav expressed his feelings in a long note. He penned how he is not going to clarify his side for the sake of his children and the mother of his children. The things that is worth taking a note of is that he didn't call Ritu, 'his wife', but 'mother of his children'. Further Gaurav added that he is ready to live with negativity and hate for his entire life.
Gaurav also appealed to people to stop making assumptions about his married life. He also added that men are made villains quite easily as they do not cry or talk less. Gaurav also shared that social media is not a place to discuss family affairs. He wrote:
"Will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation. Please stop making any assumptions. Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that. Social media is not a place to discuss family matters. I have nothing to say."
On the work front, Ritu is a pilot and Captain of Airbus A320.
