In the latest trailer of 'Koffee With Karan' season 7, Gauri Khan revealed what 'filmy' title she would love to give to her love story with Shah Rukh Khan.
The ultimate king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan had not just taught every youngster that pyaar dosti hai but also believed in the same. His own love story with Gauri Chibber is nothing less than a Hindi cinema. The two had met at a party, and Cupid had struck them with its sharpest arrow. Crazy in love with Gauri, Shah Rukh Khan followed her to Mumbai without even knowing her whereabouts.
After a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, Gauri and Shah Rukh had begun their forever journey on October 25, 1991. Together they are parents to three adorable kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. Even after so many years of their marriage, Shah Rukh and Gauri have managed to reinstate our faith in marriage and are pure couple goals to millennials.

For the latest episode of the celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan, season 7, Gauri Khan will grace the show with her BFFs, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey. In the trailer posted by the host of the show, Karan Johar, we got a glimpse of Gauri Khan in her best avatar. When asked by the host what filmy name she would like to give to her love story with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri replied, “I think Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, I love that film.” To which Karan Johar retorted, “And yours was quite a turbulent love story.” To which Gauri replied, “It was.”
The problems in Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Chibber’s journey had arisen as she hailed from a family of Hindu Brahmins, and he was the pathani Muslim guy. Once Gauri had said ‘yes’ to Shah Rukh’s proposal, the next step was to convince her parents, who were against their inter-religion union. But eventually, they had given the nod to their relationship.

In an old talk show by actress, Farida Jalal, Shah Rukh had revealed Gauri’s family’s reaction to their wedding mandap. Talking about the same, the actor had shared:
“I remember, when their whole family, old fashioned people, I respect them all and respect their beliefs but at that time, in that old-fashioned reception, all of them were sitting there when I came in at 1:15, whispering “Hmmm.. He’s a Muslim boy. Hmm.. Will he change the girl’s name? Will she (Gauri) become a Muslim?”
We all know, Shah Rukh Khan’s love for films and have even witnessed how King Khan had made a niche for himself in Bollywood without any Godfather. However, in many media interactions, the badshah of Bollywood had stated that if ever he is asked to make a choice between his career and Gauri, he'll leave films for her.
