On March 14, 2025, the Dangal star turned 60, and only a day before this, the actor arranged a meet-and-greet with the media, celebrating his milestone age and most importantly, confirming his relationship with longtime friend-turned-girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. And now, an old video has resurfaced on the internet, where Aamir was seen attending the wedding anniversary bash of former cricketer, Irfan Pathan.
Soon after Aamir Khan confirmed his relationship with Gauri Spratt, who was his friend for 25 years, eagle-eyed netizens dug out an old video from the wedding anniversary celebration of Irfan Pathan. Taking to the discussion platform, Reddit, users started sharing a video clip from the evening.
In the video, which Irfan Pathan originally shared on Instagram, Aamir and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, were seen enjoying the celebration. Gauri was also seen at the event, dressed in a stylish purple checked outfit, standing close to Aamir. As Irfan and his wife, Safa Baig, cut a chocolate cake, Aamir joined in the fun, even getting fed a slice by the cricketer himself. The clip ended with a group photo that has now gone viral, and fans couldn’t help but notice Gauri standing right behind Aamir, alongside his exes. This further indicates that Gauri has become an integral part of Aamir’s close circle.

These posts hinted that Aamir would host a special dinner to celebrate his 60th birthday. The board, titled “Aamir 60th Dinner,” featured inspiration for an intimate outdoor gathering, complete with fairy lights, fresh flowers, cosy dinner tables, and a bonfire. However, after the posts gained public attention, Gauri seemed unhappy about the buzz. She quickly removed all the birthday celebration plans from her Pinterest account. Fans also noticed that Gauri's social media handle is no longer active.
Gauri Spratt has reportedly been friends with Aamir Khan for around 25 years. Originally from Bengaluru, she now lives in Mumbai, where she runs a salon. Gauri is also a mother to a six-year-old son and prefers to keep a low profile on social media. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has been a partner and director at BBlunt since 2007. She completed her schooling at Blue Mountain School and later earned a degree in Fashion Styling and Photography from the University of Arts, London.
Aamir and Gauri first met 25 years ago but eventually lost touch due to their busy personal and professional lives. They reconnected a few years ago, and their friendship gradually turned into something more. They’ve been dating for the past 18 months, and Aamir, ever the attentive partner, remembers the exact timeline. Speaking to the media, he joked about how he managed to keep their relationship private, saying:
