It was in March 2021 when Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra had announced their second pregnancy and now, the to-be mom reveals how it is different from the first one.
Remember the song, Woh Ajnabee from the film, The Train, with which Dil Diya Hai debutante, Geeta Basra had everyone go weak on their knees? Not just us, even the Indian cricketer and specialist spin bowler, Harbhajan Singh was bowled over by the beauty of Geeta when he had first seen her in that song. After asking a few of his friends to find a way to contact Geeta, he finally got her number and he texted her to meet him. She dodged his question when he asked her out and instead congratulated him on the T-20 World Cup win. Then finally lucked turned into Harbhajan's favour and she met him during the IPL.

After carefully analysing her second thoughts on coming into a relationship with Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra finally said yes. It was in 2015 when Harbhajan and Geeta were pronounced husband and wife and a year later, the couple was blessed with a baby girl. Geeta and Harbhajan embraced parenthood with the arrival of their angel, Hinaya and soon, they are going to be blessed with their second child. Geeta and Harbhajan are pregnant for the second time and in July 2021, their daughter, Hinaya will become a 'big sister'.
It was a pleasant surprise for Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra fans when the couple had announced their second pregnancy. In an interview with Pinkvilla, when Geeta was asked if their second child is a planned one, she retorted, "Yes. I am not the person who wanted one child. A child needs a sibling, I feel. Of course, to each their own. I would love to have two kids." Speaking about becoming a mother for the second time, Geeta remarked, "It's very different and this pregnancy has been very difficult. Hinaya's was a smoother ride in terms of eating but this time, it is difficult to eat and I am not craving anything. I was really looking forward to indulging in some good food but maybe in the next couple of months, things change."
Revealing how things are different this time with her pregnancy as now, she has a four-year-old to focus on and Hinaya's reaction on becoming a big sister soon, Geeta Basra continued, "You know what’s coming but you also tend to forget a lot of things. You know you will have to go through whole thing again, so it's scary. It is overwhelming. During Hinaya’s time, I was in London all alone but with this pregnancy, I have a child to focus on. Earlier, the attention was on me but now, Hinaya is the focus. Hinaya is excited and is looking forward to being a sister."

Being a celebrity parent, Geeta Basra is aware that the spotlight on her little one, Hinaya is inevitable but she tries to protect her as much as possible. Geeta said, "When we would be clicked at airports or people would ask us for autographs, Hinaya was curious but we didn’t give that too much attention. We want our kids to have a normal childhood, though she knows her dad plays cricket. When she gets clicked, she would hide her face as she is shy. We try to keep her away as much as possible."
To announce their pregnancy on March 14, 2021, Geeta Basra had posted pictures with Harbhajan Singh and their little one, Hinaya on her social media handle, in which the soon-to-be family of four had twinned in denim. Harbhajan had opted for a blue denim shirt with black denim and Geeta flaunted her baby bump in a denim dress. Hinaya had looked adorable in a blue denim dress, just like her mommy. Geeta had captioned her post as "Coming soon… July 2021" followed by a heart emoticon
