Genelia Deshmukh dropped a comment on a reel that called out Sonam Kapoor and tagged her as 'jealous' for her condescending look while talking about the former.

While Sonam enjoys a massive fanbase, she, now and then, gets called out for one reason or another. Internet users often slammed Sonam as they felt the actress showed much 'attitude'. Well, recently, a video surfaced online, wherein something similar happened, and Genelia Deshmukh reacted to the same.
Recently, a screengrab of an IG reel was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit. In the IG video, Sonam Kapoor was called out and was even tagged as 'jealous', as she reportedly had a condescending look while talking about Genelia Deshmukh. The video was from Koffee With Karan, where Karan Johar asked Sonam about who she thinks to be real on Instagram. Sonam replied, "Genelia, Sameera, whatever, all these people", with a condescending look on her face. Moreover, in the video, Sonam was slammed, and it had a caption that reads:
"Genelia's one South movie is equal to her whole career, jealousy can be seen on your face."
Moreover, the screengrab featured the comment section of the video, wherein Genelia Deshmukh's comment could be seen. Reacting to the video, Genelia dropped folded-hands emoticons. Now, netizens yet again reacted to the whole incident.
Some users felt Sonam was only praising Genelia by calling her 'real', and the latter's reaction can come from the same. Others tagged the latter to be queen for commenting on the reel that called out Sonam. A few of the internet users called Sonam 'rude' and questioned how could people make comments with a condescending look, not feeling anything about the opposite person just because they are kind enough not to comment.
One user penned, "What is this 'Genelia, Sameera whatever'..Kis Baat ka attitude hai behen." Another user supported Genelia for commenting on the Reel, and wrote, "Finally, sometimes people like Sonam think they can say whatever or be so rude and condescending without any consequences…just because the other person is kind enough not to comment."

She further added that she loves watching Genelia's reels, as she and her husband, Ritiesh, are hilarious. Sonam further mentioned that she constantly stalks Genelia on social media. Genelia and Ritiesh are one of the much-loved couples in the Hindi film industry, and they always shell out major couple goals. Sonam also feels the same way, as she talked about the adorable bond the couple share among them.
