From the moment a woman gets to know about her pregnancy, not only she undergoes a lot of physical changes but she also prepares herself mentally for the difficult road of parenting. Genelia Deshmukh had gotten married to the love of her life, Riteish Deshmukh on February 3, 2012. The doting couple had embraced parenthood for the first time on November 25, 2014 with the arrival of their son, Riaan Deshmukh. In 2016, Riaan was promoted to ‘big brother’ when Genelia and Riteish had welcomed their second baby, Rahyl Deshmukh. From celebrating birthdays to teaching the importance of every festival, Genelia and Riteish are the perfect examples of parenting goals.
A few hours back, Genelia Deshmukh took to her IG handle and shared a hilarious video with Riaan and Rahyl, lip syncing the song, Mai Tera Boyfriend and their cute camaraderie is unmissable. Along with the video, Genelia penned an emotional note on being a mother and how her kids are above everything else. Her note could be read as “Being a Mum is that one time that you realise, you effortlessly, whole heartedly and repeatedly put someone above you but in the process, you also realise that you are the only person they put on the pedestal in their lives… Kids are just that... Forgiving to every mood, wanting you 24/7 and believing their Mom is right ( While every mom questions themselves whether they are doing the right thing) I know as a Mum, I’m not Perfect, I’m not the best, I falter, I fall but where my kids are concerned no one can want better for them, than me… So to all Moms- You are the Best and don’t let anyone make you feel otherwise.”
On June 1, 2020, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh’s baby boy, Rahyl Deshmukh had turned 4 and to mark the special day, the doting mommy had posted some lovely pictures of him. Pouring her heart out on her ‘sonshine’ teaching her how ‘big’ love is, Genelia had wished Rahyl on his fourth birthday, “RAHYL... Just when I thought I know what love is, someone so little and so precious came along to remind me how BIG Love is. Rahyl I want you to always know, you were wished for, longed for, prayed for and will always always be loved because you are my most favourite thing of everyday. Happy Birthday Baby Boy. Riteish Deshmukh, in a 2016 interview with the HT, had spoken about the bond that his two boys, Riaan Deshmukh and Rahyl Deshmukh share. Riteish had remarked, “Riaan absolutely dotes on him. It is good to see that kind of bonding. Sometimes, when I look at them, it makes me wonder if I was like that as a kid?” To mark Children’s Day 2018, Genelia had penned how her little ones had made her life worthy. Posting a family picture, Genelia had written, “Dearest Riaan and Rahyl... Happy Children’s day ... My Life is you 2 and I’m glad I keep it so simple because I Love every single minute that we spend together and I promise you that no matter who you meet in Life I Will still be that person who loves you the most..
