The love that had bloomed on the sets of a film, had finally made it to a lifetime of happiness when the duo had tied the marital knot. For the unversed, Genelia got married to the love of her life, Riteish and had become 'Mrs Deshmukh' on February 03, 2012. For the past nine years, they have been inspiring us with their love. They are quite active on social media and often treat their fans with some adorable glimpses from their personal life that makes everyone go in awe of them. When Genelia was asked a very intriguing question about which co-star of her husband, Riteish Deshmukh made her jealous, the actress handled it very intelligently and gave a witty answer. Though the question was intended about an actress, Genelia took Riteish's co-star, Akshay Kumar's name. Hearing her reply, Riteish burst out into laughter.
On July 8, 2021, Genelia had posted a super cute video on her IG handle with her hubby, Riteish. In the funny video, while the couple had looked lost in each other's eyes and were about to indulge in a cosy moment by kissing each other, their pooch had stopped them with his kisses. The video had featured Genelia donning a beautiful red-coloured ensemble. On the other hand, Riteish could be seen wearing a white-coloured shirt.

On February 3, 2021, Riteish and Genelia had completed nine years of their marital life, and he had penned a very sweet note for his wife on their wedding anniversary. Ritesh had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a surreal picture with his baiko, Genelia. We could see Riteish donning a gorgeous green kurta in the picture, while Genelia was seen wearing a yellow-coloured saree.
Riteish had expressed how Genelia's shoulder would be his resting place forever as he was resting his head on his wifey, Genelia's shoulder. He had written, ''This is my resting place forever, I will live here, for this is the home I desired. Happy anniversary baiko @geneliad."
