In a recent interview, Genelia Deshmukh spilt the beans on how her husband, Riteish Deshmukh once tackled the shutterbugs as they were stationed outside their kids' school.
Bollywood actor, Riteish Deshmukh and his actress-wife, Genelia Deshmukh are avid social media users and the duo never fails to amaze us with their camaraderie. From being co-actors to being lovers, life partners and then parents to their sons, the couple has been together through thick and thin. Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh had met each other for the shoot of their film, Tujhe Meri Kasam. Little did they know that they would spend a lifetime of togetherness with each other.
Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh had dated each other for nine long years and had decided to tie the knot on February 3, 2012. Owing to their cultural differences, the duo had decided to get married in both Christian and Maharashtrian rituals. The duo had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their firstborn, Riaan Deshmukh on November 25, 2014. In 2016, Riaan was promoted to a 'big brother' when Genelia and Riteish had welcomed their second son, Rahyl Deshmukh.

Though Genelia and Riteish are pretty much acquainted with the paparazzi culture, they have tried to keep their sons, Riaan and Rahyl out of the media glares at certain places. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Genelia Deshmukh talked about how her husband, Riteish tackled the shutterbugs when they were stationed outside their sons' school.
Stating the same, Genelia said, "When the kids were smaller and the schools were on, a couple of photographers would come to click Riteish or myself there. I think Riteish had once spoken to one of them (and said) 'You click as many pictures as you want of me but the kids, it is a little unfair to the other kids as well as to our kids, to be clicked in a place which totally theirs. It's not our place at that point of time'."

Riteish further added that he had requested the paparazzi not to click them outside their school and the latter had obliged the same. He explained, "When they came to school, I requested them to click anywhere else but don't come to school. You know, leave them, let them be. And they did that, they never came back to the school. I respect them for that."
Going further in the interview, Riteish Deshmukh shared that he and his wife, Genelia have taught their sons, Riaan and Rahyl to greet the paparazzi with folded hands whenever they come across them. Riteish told the publication, "We make sure that they're not supposed to feel special because there is someone out there who wants to click their picture. We always say, 'Today they are there, tomorrow they might not be there. Whenever they are there, respect it and move on. Don't expect people to be there to click your pictures'.''

On the work front, Genelia and Riteish are coming up with their new show, Flipkart Ladies vs Gentlemen season 2.
