Genelia D'souza and Riteish Deshmukh talked about dividing their kids' work between them. The actress recalled the hilarious story of how Riteish manages their children.
Parenting your kids can be a tricky task and it requires both the parents to participate equally. With kids around you, your work tends to grow more and thus, these days, parents decide to divide the work amongst them. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza are blessed with 2 boys and are wonderful parents to them. They had welcomed their first child, Riaan in 2014, and their second son, Rahyl in 2016.
For the unversed, Genelia D’souza had met Riteish Deshmukh at the Hyderabad airport for the look test of their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam. She had a preconceived notion about him to be a brat as he hails from an influential family. 16-year-old, Genelia and 24-year-old, Riteish had gradually fallen in love with each other and after dating for 9 years, they had finally tied the knot on February 3, 2012.

Riteish and Genelia are working parents and thus, to manage their kids, they divide their work amongst them. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Genelia recalled a funny story about how Ritesh has to manage the kids just one day and what goes in that day. In her words:
“So Riteish does one day which is great, I mean I know a lot of dads who do a lot of things. The distant learning that our kids have been doing online, I used to do it all five days and I felt like I need one day off because I need a different perspective. I don’t feel like I’m not good at the whole thing for the child. I want to do my best. So, I asked Riteish would you do one day, he said ‘yes, of course,’ So, every time he realises that Wednesday is coming which is his day… He says, ‘I’ve never found anything more tolerable than this.”
Adding to how the Wednesday goes for Riteish as he has to manage his kids’ studies, the actor exclaimed:
“Oh My God, this Wednesday of my life. Basically, because of my child’s education, one day of my week is ruined.”

On October 14, 2020, Riteish had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a beautiful picture with his two kids, Riaan and Rahyl. In the picture, we could see Riaan and Rahyl screaming their hearts out as they were enjoying the waterfall with their daddy. Alongside the picture, Riteish had written:
"Waterfalls wouldn’t sound so melodious if there were no rocks in their way."
Riteish often shares snippets of his life with his kids on his IG handle. On September 24, 2020, Riteish Deshmukh had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a glimpse of his 'artsy Thursday' with his kids, Riaan Deshmukh and Rahyl Deshmukh. The actor had flaunted his son, Riaan's art on his Instagram story and had written:
"Art with kids Riaan."
On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Sourza were last seen hosting the show, Ladies V/s Gentleman 2 together.
