Word of Advice on Your Diet

Between work and wedding planning, you probably don’t have much time to work out or stick to a diet. However, before your wedding you will need to watch your intake of calories and stick to a simple diet and work out 3-4 times a week at least. Eat plenty of protein to build muscle and give yourself a healthy portion of carbohydrates to maintain your workout regime. Experts suggest that you eat at least 5-6 mini meals through the day, rather than sticking to a heavy breakfast, light lunch and dinner routine.  Setting a calorie goal helps. For men, 1,800 calories is a decent daily goal and plan your calorie intake accordingly. Try to avoid food rich in fat content too.

Workout Advice

It’s not just the bride who wants to look fab on the wedding day. She wants you to look good next to her. If you have never worked out all your life, your wedding could be a great excuse to start. However, if you are regular with your workouts, you will need to plan your schedule so it does not clash with the planning and other activities, which might take up most of your time. Can you believe that 20 minutes, thrice a week can work wonders? Your gym instructor can help you attack the fat that matters most. From walking, biking, jogging to resistance-training exercises, such as weight lifting, you can consult an expert to find the best program for your body.

Stay Away From Alcohol

Alcohol might seem to be a great way to deal with pre-wedding stress. However, remember that drinking alcohol adds unwanted calories. It could also leave you dehydrated. But of course, you cannot avoid the stag night fun.

Sleep Well!

Make sure that you get plenty of rest ahead of your big day. A good amount of physical activity during the day including exercise will ensure that you get a good night’s sleep. If you are sleep-deprived you could end up dealing with daytime drowsiness, lack of energy and irritability too.
