On the occasion of Women’s Day, Sonali Bendre has shared the most heartfelt words for her girl gang which includes her besties- Sussanne Khan, Gayatri Oberoi, among others. Sharing the following pictures on her Instagram handle, Sonali has captioned them as, “They say, "Your vibe attracts your tribe". Over the years, I've realized how special it is to have someone you can lean on. When they have been with you through all those highs and lows, it gives you the freedom to be yourself. That's just the kind of bond I share with these amazing women. They're all successful... they're all courageous. Each one of them shines through their unique personalities."
Sonali’s post could further be read as, “But it's their constant support and encouragement that gives me the confidence to do whatever I wish to do. I'm really proud of my #GirlGang and am extremely happy to be spending not just #WomensDay but also every day of my life with them. I love you all. P.S.: I'm pretty sure that even 50 years from now, we'll be the group of women causing trouble around us.”

We all know that Sonali is a cancer survivor who fought the battle like a warrior. In a recent interview with Vogue India, the actress shared her journey of battling cancer and emerging out victorious. She had said, “My first thought was to hide it because it was a disease. I thought my ‘brand’ is overall along I had been endorsing healthy eating and health-focused products, and suddenly it was all gone. It was only when my oncologist said that I had fourth-stage cancer and a 30 per cent chance that my whole world view changed. Suddenly I didn’t see any reason not to talk about it. I had done nothing wrong; it was not my fault I had cancer, so why was I hiding it?”
Sonali also shared what her emotions were when she had shaven her head in the bathroom. The 44-year-old actress had stated, “It was that very typical meltdown-in-a-shower scene. There was nothing new about it—it was exactly how you see it in books and movies, where the protagonist takes a razor and shaves it off. I wanted to write a new story, but it was the same old scene. My idea was to go for a haircut with my girlfriends, open a bottle of champagne and toast to the one glass I was allowed to have before I shaved my head! So that scene remains.”
Sonali’s husband, Goldie has been her constant support throughout her battle. On November 12, 2018, it was Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl’s 16th marriage anniversary. Sonali had taken to her Instagram account and had shared lovely pics with her hubby. Thanking her hubby, Sonali had beautifully captioned the post as, "As soon I began to write this... I knew instantly that I wouldn’t be able to put down in words all the emotions and thoughts that were running through my head. Husband. Companion. Best friend. My rock. For me, that's @goldiebehl. Marriage is standing by each other, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health… and god knows, how we’ve been through that this year.” (Must Read: Unseen Pictures From Shloka Mehta's Bachelorette Trip To Berlin With Her Besties, Checkout Inside)
